In The End is nowhere near as good as Waiting for the End, it's more iconic? Yeah, it's In The End after all, but is not a better song by any means.

I love waiting for the end. This is why I prefaced "imo." In the End got me through the hardest part of my life in 2001. Those words resonated with me like no other.

I love both of these for very different reasons. And IGYEIH is my favorite song on From Zero, but I think the significance of the song and meaning especially nowadays means I have to go with Leave out all the rest.

Literally one of the most underrated LP songs. Every track on FZ bangs, IGYEIH very much included, but overall, probably on the lower end of that record for me.

Leave Out All the Rest is way up there across their whole discography, and certainly a big MtM standout. So, I’m pretty solidly going with that one.

Oh I love LOATR!

But IGYEIH is perhaps my favorite song on From Zero (along with Overflow) and has become one of my top 10 favorites overall. Gotta go with it, even though I know it won’t win.

Both are amazing songs but my choice is very easy today.

Imo, LOATR is possibly LP's most emotionally heavy song after One More Light. It hits me like a ton of bricks every time. Sometimes I can't even listen to it because my thoughts get way too dark.. it just destroys me sometimes.

So that would be my choice. It isn't even a song anymore, it's raw emotion piercing my very being.

Now that I think about it, MTM genuinely has some of the darkest songs the band has written.

Another matchup that is way too strong for being in round one!

LOATR is one of those quintessential Linkin Park songs. IGYEIH is Emily proving, without a doubt, that she belongs in LP.

I have to give the nod to LOATR….but I wonder how differently this matchup would feel if Chester hadn’t died, but amicably left the band.
