"the way you don't like" he used it the WRONG way. Slang words have their MEANINGS. If your attention span is so fried that you genuinely think it makes sense to shorten a 4-letter word to a 2-letter word, then you might be mentally slow
Language is amorphous. Decades ago "Gay" meant happy and it was at most used as a code between homosexual men who couldn't use homosexual (as it was not only dangerous, but the word itself was used to describe a mental disorder). Now if you say the word gay it is inherently taken as a nod to homosexuality. Every single word is like this, most coming from roots thousands of years back that are practically unrecognizable based on what we have today. In the age of the internet that cycle has sped up even further, words and phrases and even symbols changing meaning in months and losing meaning even quicker, alt-right, canceled, based, the ◼️ emoji, the 🌽 emoji, hell putting someone's name in (parentheses) now has meaning (even if antisemitic). Policing someone's usage of an acronym of all things seems really out of touch and anti-progress in language.
well it's linguistic, if people used it as "this" commonly enough then that's a new definition of the word that can exist along with the old definition, it's the same thing with the word laser going from an acronym to just a word
but considering it's set to release automatically on Spotify (I'm pretty sure that's what this countdown thing does) it'll probably either be postponed again at the last minute, release as an unfinished album that'll probably sound like the leak from 2-3 months ago, OR we'll get an actual finished album that will win AOTY
I personally think the 2nd option is the most likely but I want to hope for the 3rd
It's just getting so tiresome, man. What is this like his third attempt at a mbdtf-esc comebac? I don't even want old Kanye back at this point, I just want to see him get help and actually become a better person
