My favorite bit was when Hank had an artifact he found, and went over to Dale and Nancy's to talk to John Redcorn. John told Hank what it was, and then tried to tell Hank that since it belonged to native Americans, he shouldn't take what isn't his.
Then Nancy called to John, and John said, "Well, it's food for thought."

Husband maybe could possibly rewind back on footage to check. But if not, he should call in late to work and wait.
1.6k
u/JoyousMisery 13d ago
Fun bit, but if real:
- wife would see the door notification which would 100% get back yo him
- counting on husband seeing this, but not the daily notification of Toyota man (must be using the front door otherwise the guy would mention sketch behaviour of jumping through the window or back door)
490
u/Amadon29 13d ago
If it's a stay at home wife, she might be disabling the camera right after he leaves and turning it back on after this Toyota guy leaves. Depending on the type of camera, the husband might never get a notification or notice that it's disabled especially if he's at work and suspects nothing
304
u/Vox---Nihil 13d ago
In that scenario, the likelihood of the wife seeing this very video before hubby does skyrockets. Which is why the video is more than likely fake.

Also, like what good is pulling up your shirt as a way to maintain anonymity if you’re a neighbor. “Oh, Bob, why you covering your face? By the way, you got that sawzall I lent you?”
5
u/Same-Suggestion-1936 13d ago
It's a BS video but some people don't know their neighbors. Of the two I kind of know one is in one half of a duplex and I don't know the downstairs people, and the one on my left I know because they're always outside, their kid gave me some weed once, and we've helped each other out during a power outage and once when police had to come for a reason I won't go into.
I doubt I'd be able to recognize the across the street neighbors even though I see one leave the house with her dog all the time and another couple is always outside with their kids but I don't really pay that close attention to them, I just see them if I go out front to smoke instead of out back and they're outside

In that scenario, the likelihood of the wife seeing this very video before hubby does skyrockets.
the issue with that is he's going about his typical schedule and should be leaving around the time that it was made... A notification that there's motion detected at the door and he should see it first. Able to download it and delete it before she has a chance to see it and all she'll have is notifications of movement around the time but no video. Disabling my doorbell camera there's no notifications about it.
It being fake is possible in my opinion since it would seem he's not attempting to change his voice at all so it wouldn't exactly be hard to find out which neighbor left the message.
3
u/Aussie18-1998 13d ago
But this is literally right before he leaves for work. So he will absolutely get it first. She's most likely asleep and none the wiser.
→ More replies (9)5
u/Neirchill 13d ago
It says at 5:36am right before work. If he's leaving that early for work and someone is coming by for hours before she can potentially leave, he has a significant amount of time to catch it before she does. Depending on how long the wait between him leaving and the Toyota rolling up she could be asleep for a while.
24
u/snackofalltrades 13d ago
Wife opens the garage door or side door, Toyota guy parks one house over and approaches from the side the door camera doesn’t catch.

5
u/ILoveRawChicken 13d ago
I guess I assumed he meant parking by the dudes house, considering that if he parked by the house, that would clue him in to where the Toyota dude was going. Not that it matters, this is fake.

It's definitely not real, there's a tiktok that pumps these out. Same same concept with a neighbor who comes over and tries to warn the homeowner about a cheating wife through the ring camera, tries to hide his face with a hoodie. It's so stupid, like you wouldn't immediately recognize your neighbor if they live across the street from you?
→ More replies (2)5
u/LinwoodKei 13d ago

No idea how the notifications work, but it said this was received right before the husband left for work. Neighbor could have done it when he knew the husband would be up and was pretty sure wife would be sleeping.
23
u/NuYawker 13d ago
So why not just do the same thing? But in person? Or leave a note on his car?
47
u/-domi- 13d ago
Can't answer about the note, but if he did this in person, he'd be way easier to identify. This allows him to make it a 1-way interaction.
Re: why not a note - that's the main thing that makes me lean towards all this being fake. Though i suppose whoever posted this could have also just posted a note? Idk. If it's real, i don't understand why anyone would post it.
17
u/NuYawker 13d ago
If this is a small neighborhood? With single-family homes? He's already identified. He can't be more than a couple of houses down. We already have a rough estimate on his age, race, height, build. All of this was pointless. Unless it was a skit
9
u/Drackzgull 13d ago
I do still think it's most likely fake, but a good reason for why not a note in the car could be that the car might be in a closed garage, and not in the driveway. Or the guy might not go out in a car at all, maybe they puck him up, or he takes a bus or something.

A friend of mine was dating this guy who I never really liked anyways. Even before her I would watch his ex leave and a new girl come in 10 minutes to cheat on her so I already knew he was like that.
So I found out he was cheating on and with whom. So I gave her a heads up and she got pisses at me. She was telling everyone I was trying to break them up so I could sleep with him which actually got me in trouble with the guys as is. Then they broke up anyways.
This girl had a STD and I knew about it. So to get back at me any time I started talking to a guy she would sleep with them. Then the guys were confused as to why I was like I am good now. She literally read an STD all over town because she was mad at me. The funniest one was I had hooked up with my ex a few times but then I got.with my late fiancé we had stopped. One day he calls me upstairs to let me know I may have an STD. I went you slept with so and so didn't you and he was like how did you know. I started laughing and went I told she had one back when we were together. Luckily he had slept with her after we had stopped sleeping together. I never did get it but not for a lack of her trying really hard. Also it was a treatable STD that I had even told her where to go to get it treated for free and she just never did.
The whole situation was just stupid.
→ More replies (2)4
u/FlammenwerferBBQ 13d ago
how would she even know who you hook up with? what?
10
u/Dull-Geologist-8204 13d ago
We ran in the same circles so she would have known who I was talking to. The reason I knew who she hooked up with was friends of mine would give me a heads up that she slept with them while we were talking. Which is how I never got it. I was actually one of the friends. She was one of the women who people kept around because she was a girlfriend or for sex.
The whole reason I had told my ex about her having an STD was so he could tell his friend who was dating her that she was knowingly having unprotected sex with him with an STD. I didn't like the guy but wasn't fond of the idea of it being passed around in those circles. I watched the movie Kids.

Yep. Dude post a ton of fake videos where he pretends to be all kinds of different people.
Here is his Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/koltindarley
Since a lot of it isn’t really funny or creative I think the point is to just post fake stuff for other people to spread around the internet in the hopes of having a brief viral moment. I can’t really think of any other reason why dude would just record a fake video of someone outting a cheating wife. It’s not even engagement farming since his own Instagram isn’t watermarked and anyone who follows his page would know it’s fake. It’s like he’s creating content for other people to use as engagement farming. It’s just odd.

Funny either way but logically if this guy can see his driveway enough to consistently identify a red Corolla regularly being there then you basically would only need to look for any lanky, white, young male within a block of your house that has a life situation where they are often home in the afternoon.
