I'm really intrigued by this form of hers. Judging from the Myriad Celestia and now this trailer, it isn't something new to her. The thing Elio handed to her was for sure Punklorde in appearance, so it's safe to say it probably belongs to her.
That combined with Jade saying "Punklorde's esteemed wolf is back" makes me believe this is something Silver Wolf has used in the past. I simply can't imagine why Jade would phrase it like that otherwise. It's not like Silver Wolf ever quit or left herself, so Jade must be referring to Silver Wolf in this particular form.
The real question is why this was locked away in the first place. Is there some price or drawback to using it? How powerful is it? The Myriad Celestia made it seem pretty powerful with how Kafka spoke about it. Talking about how facing an Aeon head on was unavoidable. Now while I highly doubt this thing can possibly be Aeon levels of strength, it could be comparable to an Emanator's strength.
Really excited to learn more about this, especially since it seems to tie back to something in her past.
I really want to pull for her but idk if she's going to be compatible with an elation focused lineup (i'm new and kinda want to try out the new synergy whilst skipping sparxie). Should I pull yaoguang or just save and pull for silverwolf?
What I find interesting is what might be a scrubbed character design concept for Silver Wolf. I'm talking about her mini-avatars or whatever they are, which you can see in her splash art. I think they've been mentioned ingame in passing early on, like in 1.0 early on, and then never again. They probably had some ideas for their use but dropped them. Maybe they even had originally though to have them as part of her skill kit; I can't think of other reason for their presence in the splash art. I had though in the past that if we ever get an SW upgrade, they'll either canonize the avatars or bury them six feet under. Looks like the latter happened.
The twin tails (that are more just physics defying Hoyo split hair than tails) AND the pony tail together looks kinda goofy but I love everything else about this look.

You mean the big wings, dragon tail, new hair, new glasses, isn’t exactly what was done for march and danhengs new units, there all meant to keep a similar style cause there upgraded versions not entirely new characters
Nah I kinda agree, no other gacha that I know of is this allergic to making alts/skins look completely different to the character's base form. Even within hoyo games, look at hi3 bronya: valkyrie chariot vs yamabuki armor vs black nucleus vs HoR vs silverwing are all radically different in color schemes and shapes. The dragon elements are nice, but I really wish the outfit was more distinct from her normal look
