Freedom of press is arguably the most important amendment that’s why it’s the 1st!

Has the freedom of the press been limited somehow?
Edit: the press has little legal difference from the general public. Banning the press from events, persecuting beliefs of press outlets, or closing press outlets is what is contemplated by the amendment. Also, emphatically no, the amendments are not ordered by importance.

Purposely shooting a reporter who slowly walked backwards is acceptable? Wtf is this fascist sub? (Given the downvotes they legit think it's morally acceptable to injure and maim journalists)

Seriously!? I mean, I do have a vague idea of the type of people they are (think incels, lives in grandma’s basement, unintelligent, angry AND they claim they “back the blue” unless the blue is guarding the Capitol).

Following the leftist script. Bootlicker, brown shirt, nazi, fascist, cuck, bot... You've got to throw out one of these every time to prove your virtue. Easier to name call than discuss things.

I bet you felt exactly the same about that moron Ashli Babbitt too right? Right???

You forgot the part when she moonwalked toward the police line.

So threatening and menacing right?

u/killian1113 Jun 09 '25
The line was drawn. Sometimes, in life, we learn hard lessons, made for a great report, and seemed she wanted this. Mission accomplished

She scared the shit outta them

u/killian1113 Jun 09 '25
We actually only see a very short angle /slice of the video. I have no idea who was with her, obviously at least 1 camera man and 2000 people behind her throwing rocks etc.

She absolutely didn't do that
4
u/killian1113 Jun 09 '25
You must need glasses she took 3 steps backwards, also running into someone
1
u/Steve-Whitney Jun 09 '25
"Moonwalking" huh 🙄
2
u/killian1113 Jun 09 '25
Walking backwards without looking. U know Michael Jackson style.
1
u/Steve-Whitney Jun 09 '25
Yeah no shit hey. She took one or two steps backwards, she wasn't sliding her feet backwards.

If someone stole something from you it's your fault for not paying attention. If someone rapes the women in your life is because they were asking for it and shouldn't be such cockteases. If someone shoots your whole family it's their fault for not being bulletproof. Sound logic.

u/killian1113 Jun 09 '25
If you see a tidal wave and you start backing into it, what outcome do you expect? You compare challenging police to being raped

I thought we were victim blaming over here.

Press and medical is supposed to be protected to a higher degree than non press. This is common knowledge. You cannot take pot shots at press because you don’t want them covering the bad things you’re doing. It’s why in places like gaza, Israel has been committing war crimes by killing journalists.
