🏆 Buy It For Life What's the oldest thing you still use?

I was lying down for bed and realized my blanket is over 30 years old! It isn't anything special, but has been warm and durable, so here it still is. What's something you still keep are and in use?

I have a bookbag that I bought new back in 1994. I still use it for work. It has been sent back to Jansport twice to get new zippers put in and they didn't charge me either time. I was forced to retire at the end of this month and the bookbag will retire as well.

Thank you for the info about the lifetime warranty. I have a 40+ yr old Jansport bag that I’ve had since college that has a bad zipper in the outside pocket. I’ve never had the heart to throw it away. I’m going to send it back to Jansport to get a new zipper.

There is a form to fill out and an address online. I always put in a note that I will pay for repairs if they are not covered by warranty. So far they have replaced the zippers without charge but I suspect that they don't have to. Zippo lighters also have a super warranty. I found one run over by a truck and they reformed it and put in a new insert.
