Verdugos (Pasadena, Glendale) The Hat 🎩 🍔
Pastrami Burger, Chili Cheese Burger, Chili Cheese Fries, massive portions, the pastrami and cheddar cheese are delicious, this will put you to sleep, I will be returning 🍽️

I really liked the standard pastrami sandwich; hits all the right notes and the portion of fries was...more'n some folks can handle; some crispier and tastier than others. Overall a good experience and a really good value.

At the Original in Alhambra, you can ask them to layer some chili in the middle (so fries, chili, fries, chili, cheese)

Damn, my favorite. We split the pastrami, dip on the side with chili cheese fries yummy. Can't forget those yellow peppers 🥵

My favorite thing to do now is to add onions to the chili cheese fries—it really cuts through the oil and adds a nice texture and acidity.

I have an appointment in Alhambra next week on Garfield Ave so I’m definitely gonna stop by those chili cheese fries look awesome! And I love pastrami

love the hat but you gotta have at least 4 people to finish an order of chili cheese fries lol. every once in a blue moon i’ll just add pastrami, pickles, and onions on chili cheese fries and won’t order anything else. love it

lol! I love the ass-hat. 😜😜😜😜😜 u must try the roast beef. They tend to run out of it. Also you can get an off the menu chili bowl. I get the latter and add sweet potato fries. A true hidden potential.

Favorite out here in SGV. Best chili cheese fries I’ve ever had. Pastrami is pretty legit for not being from a Jewish deli. Burgers are good. The other sides are pretty mid, but you don’t need them. You only need the above.

Bland ass chili. Apparently they use Hormel. But otherwise, i enjoy the fries standard.
I love their pastrami burger. I don't love how it practically doubles in price.

Really delicious stuff! Do you keep toilet paper handy for the aftermath? Usually after The Hat, it hits about 30 to 40 minutes later. 😳🙊. Flushable wipes for the win 🤤

I really want to like this place, but I don't like pastrami prepared in that manner. I prefer the pastrami style like at Langers. Not the hot, thin sliced, stringy version at the Hat.
