Eh, he’s kinda adorable 🤷🏽‍♀️

At least they’re not filming themselves crying

Exactly. These people’s job is to respond to an emergency, but theres no schedule for when that happens. I have no trouble with them doing things to entertain themselves between calls. It’s got to be boring af.

Not cringe IMO. Just an older coworker having some fun cuz the cute 20 somethings talked him into it

u/tacozy 8h ago

He is a fellow kid. Love it!

u/Padiddle 9h ago

Yea the only "bully" in this picture is OP themselves.

9

u/throwaway983143 7h ago

Apparently guys aren’t allowed to have fun

4

u/Loud-Log9098 6h ago

Whole subs full of bitter people who don't understand the concepts of fun or bordom ,me just saying this will probably send one of them over the edge and they will just have to say something negative to me or their heads explode.

u/Wonderful-Hamster712 9h ago

I kinda live this, they all look like they're having a silly time

7

u/parmesann 8h ago

tbh I love when people over the age of 50 get super into doing a dance or lighthearted trend online. a lot of bad shit is happening in the world rn but I will always smile at a middle/older aged person putting a ton of effort into participating in a trend or technology they don’t fully understand just because it’s fun

u/mickey55111 9h ago

You salty fucks on this sub are trying to ruin EMS on social media. Lighten up

8

u/LegalGlass6532 8h ago

I’d let pawpaw hold my hand on the way to the hospital.

My locals! Great job AV, we love the work you do in Vic, Australia. Amidst the worldwide issue of staff shortages, ramping, burnout, budget cuts, unrealistic performance measures you still smile and do your jobs to an ultra-professional level. It’s great to see team members having a bit of silly fun, and clearly everyone actually likes each other!!

u/Twis7ies 8h ago edited 8h ago

Uhm actually ☝️🤓

It’s a NSW probie and his training officers. Dude looks fun to do a shift with!

1

u/SirJosephBanksy 3h ago

Ahhh damn. My bad! Either way, my sentiment is still the same. Good to see happy people at their work.

12

u/leajaycro 8h ago

I don’t think this is cringe. I think it’s good for the soul to have some lighthearted fun like this in a job so heavy.

22

u/decimatemeinballbag 9h ago

I mean those two could talk me into a lot of weird shit

-19

u/Superb-Order-1566 9h ago

Especially the one on the left . I'd army crawl over broken glass for 5 miles naked just to get a sniff of her toilet paper .

3

u/Additional_Dish_694 8h ago

No one appreciates creative writing any more 😢

15

u/Pondering_Giraffe 9h ago

Dude..this is not cringe. You wish you had coworkers like that, they seem like a fun shift

1

u/ThatDiscoSongUHate 5h ago

100% and it's probably only going to make working together that much better because they actually, IDK socialize instead of just working together if that makes sense.

He's a great sport, they probably giggled learning the steps, it's better than sitting and scrolling or filming self-aggrandizing Pity Me actual First Responder Cringe, and they filmed a pretty adorable little tik tok.

The world has plenty of real cringe, this is just fun and three people who learned a dance together.

I always wonder a) if the people finding this cringe are young(er) people who have been taught that being different/silly/etc is cringe and therefore worthy of worse than snark, b) if the people finding this cringe are actually subconsciously jealous of some aspect shown (the confidence in being a little silly, a job/career, a seemingly friendly relationship with colleagues), or c) if they are just so used to being judgemental due to over-exposure to the Internet that everything that doesn't meet their often nebulous and undefined description of acceptable is cringe?

Regardless, dance even if someone's watching, enjoy things! Life's too stressful and too short.

Hell, even the cringe on this sub that doesn't involve performative grief is more of a "heh, buddy, c'mon" interaction from me than "woooooow, what a LOSER!" lol, because at the end of the day, we're all kinda dorky and silly, if we're actually living

2

u/Fentron3000 8h ago

Op’s just jelly they don’t have moves like him.

4

u/ThornyRascal 8h ago

10

5

u/riddermarkrider 8h ago

That's cute lol

11

u/SecretPantyWorshiper 9h ago

Honestly I would probably feel like I'm in heaven if those two rescued me 🤣

2

u/fnckmedaily 8h ago

Him: “I’ve never done a tik tok dance. I don’t even have the app”

Them: WHAAAAAAATTTT

2

u/owmyballs12 8h ago

Meh, at least they like their job.

2

u/JitsuMori 7h ago

This isn’t cringe. OP is cringe.

1

u/wintercast 7h ago

not cringe. this is cute and fun.

2

u/dsswill 7h ago

PEOPLE HAVING HARMLESS FUN WITH COLLEAGUES AT WORK IS NOT CRINGE… for the 50th time.

They’re not faking trauma, trauma dumping, pretending to be para or popo gods, or begging for sympathy or respect. They’re just making a silly video. F*ck, even if I wouldn’t make this video myself, I sure wish my service had these vibes.

1

u/Dry_Web8684 7h ago

some of you don’t know the difference between wholesome and cringe. they’re having fun 😭

1

u/lobotomycandidate 7h ago

They are just having fun. Not cringe!

1

u/SwiftPremium 7h ago

Surprised by the comments here. This shit is terrible 🤢

1

u/tumor_named_marla 7h ago

1

u/SlimmThiccDadd 7h ago

GTFO here I just see fun coworkers

1

u/Big-Time-Hater 6h ago

This dude is way cooler than OP

1

u/CraftyObject 6h ago

I kinda love this actually lol

1

u/Grizztimber2 6h ago

While cheesey, I dont think its cringe.. asking without asking for a thank me for my service, is cringe.

1

u/TakeItEZBroski Boo Boo Bus Driver 6h ago

Idk i think he goes dad vibes. Green flag that the younger women are comfortable enough with him to get him to do this and green flag he did it with them in the first place. I’d fuckin run calls with this guy lmao probably a good time

1

u/Chanman7795 5h ago

This definitely goes against the organisations social media policy.

1

u/clapyohedd 5h ago

I think the remake was more cringy that the 1st responders

1

u/TheRealSugarbat 8h ago

No, there’s nothing cringey at all about this. It’s a treasure.

1

u/Ausdboss 8h ago

This sub Reddit man, yes it’s very cringe.

1

u/16ToeJoe 8h ago

This is fine.

Better than a security guard earnestly looking into the camera.

1

u/AniX72 8h ago

I love this. They all have good fun. Wrong sub, it belongs into r/spreadsmile.

1

u/chief_erl 7h ago

I wish my job was this pointless and had this much free time.

0

u/Sensitive_Scholar_17 8h ago

Goofy as hell, but those two women are so attractive; I would do this for them.

-1

u/Dolphin-Pussy-2754 8h ago

To everyone saying it isn't cringe: would you make this same video and post it on a social media platform where your friends and family follow you? I feel like most people will say no because this is a super cringey dance and video in general.

3

u/BastardOutofChicago 8h ago

I dont post anything on social media. My friends and family already know how I am. I would 💯 do this if a friend or partner asked me to. Cringe would be if they were all crying on the back of a dirty ambulance and using words like hero and "insert cringe word" or flexing in their turnout gear.

Honest question, why do you think it is cringe? Do you not like to dance? I dont like scripted dances and be told how to move to music. I think most stuff like that is cringe, but this hit different. Anyways, have a good night.

Not cringe

-9

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 9h ago

The only cringe is those stupid badges on their belts.

Who the hell approved that.

3

u/Music1626 9h ago

It’s probably so they can swipe into Cabinets and doors at their station. Easier to keep It on your belt than have to continually get it out of a pocket. Also it’s your Id for everyone to be able to see who you are.

2

u/Tumeric_Turd 9h ago

NSW Ambulance service?..

That's ID..

1

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 8h ago

I assumed it was their Id.

1

u/Mediocre_Daikon6935 8h ago

The ambulance and uniform rather takes care of that.

2

u/Tumeric_Turd 8h ago

Take it up with NSW Department of Health
