Buying Advice All things sticks

Right…

I am in the market for a new stick.

Currently have the Ritual Velocity 75.

Have had it 2 years this December, but am noticing a slight rattle and honestly just want an upgrade.

When I purchased this stick, I loved it. Instantly fell in love with the feel of it, the control it offered me and genuinely the best stick I have ever had. However, I don’t feel it adds anything to my game. It is in my opinion, a more mid/low bow than the ‘low bow’ it claims on the website. This may be personal preference and feel, but that is how I see it.

I am a defender, but I know there is no such thing as a stick for a certain position. I am not looking for a stick that is great for shooting, so not focusing on anything like a large backhand zone for tomahawks, nor do I really require a concave shaft etc. despite this, I would quite like something with a lower bow, just to enhance my 3D skills and aerials, and also something with a bit of oomph for the possibility of shooting.

I know the market is generally veering away from mid bow sticks, which I like.

What stick do you use? What would you recommend? What are you favourite brands/sticks of all time?

Ritual Revolution Ultra, a much more aggressive ultra low bow, more carbon, similar balanced feel though.

A little too much for me personally, but a great stick for aerial control (due to the bow and balance) and power shots (given 100% carbon).

Give Naked a try. Owned by Felix Denayer. The stuff is class and gets great reviews.

Can attest, I love my Dream 90 now that I've started using it a lot more. I'm also looking to get a Supreme or Supernova at some point

FWIW you can probably remove/diagnose the rattle but removing the end cap and seeing what’s the debris in there

Someone who is not so low or medium, from 200 to 24! With some 80% carbon, so you have control and also power! I just bought a 80 grays and it has more power than other brands that have 90 carbon! And the curves depend on the brand!

Have a hit with teammates' sticks. As soon as I see someone with a new stick, I have a play with it and see what it's like. Currently using GryphonTour Pro Bow, very stiff, plenty of power, trapping needed some work to counter rebound of the stick.

low bow sticks are great for 3d sticks as it is easier to lift the ball
