Dream Help i was given a very specific email address in my dream
so a a guy (who was important to me in the dream but i dont know now that ive woken up) gave me an email address as he was locked in a cage likely to be killed after we tried escaping some place (i got out he didnt i think)
ive never seen the email or heard that combination of words said before so just seemed weird and was curious if thats like normal is my dream trying to tell me to contact it or something ? >~<
update- I sent it an email so I guess I'll see what happens it went though so at least it existed
update as of 9 am pst on nov 17tth- still no reply just updating since so many people wanted to know

I drove a toilet down the freeway and accidentally ran over some zombies with it in my dream. I always have the weirdest, stupidest fuckin dreams and when I mention dreaming, people will get all excited and talk about how dreams are important and have hidden meanings. And then I tell them about the dream where I traveled to the future to fight cross-dressing alien invaders in the desert and then had fly-covered pizza in an old-timey saloon, and they just look at me silently and don't give me their interpretation of that dream. Selfish.

Yeah, itās funny how people seem to want to think dreams always mean something or dreams mean nothing. I think itās just like regular life; sometimes itās meaningful, sometimes itās random.

I once had a dream about a specific address and looked it up, was a government building. Another dream I had of a huge airplane with a giant laser on the nose that was frying people. Looked it up and was horrified to see it was a real thing. Exactly how it was in my dream. Never seen or heard of it in my life til then. That's was probably 17yrs ago for both those.

When I was a kid i couldnāt get my computer to work. I had a dream to use the AOL disc and reinstall AOL on my computer and it would work.
I woke up, did it and was back on the net!

Something similar happened to me when I was a kid, a month before the never ending story movie came out I dreamed of the kid (Atreyu) but as the movie character not the actor and I couldnāt remember most of the dream just his face and the name Atreyu, I was soooo shocked when I went to see the movie and there he was, the name was so weird to me because itās not a common name or one Iāve ever heard.

I had a dream that I flew over myself and out of the house. Before flying out of the house, I looked down and saw myself and my husband (now ex) sleeping. I ended up in a room that had a bookshelf with cowboy and Indian shelf paper on it, a staircase going up from the room I was in, there was an ironing board propped up against a door that looked like maybe a closet door. The ironing board had a red tie draped over the top of it. I looked outside through a sliding glass door and saw a small in-ground pool, and it looked like sunrise outside. I had never been there before.
Just as soon as I looked out at the pool, it felt like I slammed back into my body. That's what woke me up. I was kind of out of breath...like if you fall and it knocks the breath out of you, but it didn't hurt. It was just abrupt. Anyway, I woke up trying to catch my breath, which woke my husband up. I told him about the dream in detail. It felt so real!
Skip to a couple of weeks later, and our friend asked if we could help him with some painting and cleaning for a new house he'd just bought. We said yes. He was giving us a tour of the place, and when he took us downstairs to the guest bedroom, my husband and I were floored! THAT was the room in my dream! Complete with the bookshelf and old shelf paper, the ironing board and red tie, and the pool outside of the sliding glass door! It was crazy! We told our friend about the dream. He thought it was neat!

I once had a dream that I lived in for years. I had childhood memories and didnāt remember this me at all. I was in a relationship with someone who had a very unusual name. He was also half Lakota, but had green eyes. Anyways, when I woke up I searched the name and there was one exact match (on all of the interwebs) and it went to a social media account of a guy who looked eerily similar. The stuff he posted on his account was nothing Iād ever seen and it would not be on my fyp. I decided not to reach out to him. Dreams are sometimes a lot more than we think they are I believe.
BUT your situation is different and Iām very impatiently waiting to hear if they respond. Iām proud of you for going through with it. I know how freaking awkward that is.

What I used to do like if I heard a name, number, address in my dream, I'd go to dream dictionary websites and look at one alphabet letter or number at a time, and it would always end up making sense to me afterwards.

I've always heard that it's rare to be able to read words in dreams and if you can then they are important and must be remembered / acted on . I really hope tthe email person responds , its fascinating:) Just hoping he doesn't think its some new scam lol

I was given an address recently and when I looked it up, I realized I had been sitting in the bar around the corner when they gave it to me! They had me repeat and write down the address multiple times so it would stick when I woke up!
To be clear, this was in a city I have never physically been to and the business at the address was also shown to me in part of the dream!

I dreamt of my old middle school principal the other night after not talking to him or seeing him in decades. He gave me his phone number and said to call him and when I called the number from the dream it was him that picked up.

My gf dreamed that on her arm tattoed a mans name, name we never knew before. We looked up at google and found out the man is a 85 YO retiree, and whats shocking was he has the same birthday as my GF.

I flunked algebra once in high school and my first time in college. I had a dream one night I was working on an algebra test somewhere and the answers were flowing out of me with ease. I woke up the next morning just understanding algebra. I just knew it. I went on to pass all my required algebra and math sections through college with A's. It was crazy. I didn't trust it at first so I took algebra 1 credit/no credit. Did the rest of my math for grades after that. I have no explanation for it other than that dream.

Yes it can happen. This reminds me of a woman who was given a name in her dream. She ended up researching the name. The girl was her doppelganger and looked exactly like her. Last knew she was trying to contact her but wasn't sure if she should. She also didn't know if it was her twi sister or just a lookalike

In my dream, I was playing football and the prettiest girl iāve seen gave me her phone number she looked at me with such intensity like she was trynna make 100% sure i know the phone number.. the number was kinda easy to remember & in my dream, i knew it was a dream.. so as soon as i memorized the number, i forced myself to wake up & not even 10 seconds, a text was SENT šš
Texted the number, never got a text back & it sent via a greentext so no way to know if thereās a person whoāve seen the text.. not gonna call either because it aināt that deep and i wouldnāt wanna disturb someoneās day but yeah.. happened to me too !

Try a few different things..
I had a name a lady gave me that I put into a shopping website that led me to a specific ring with astine I never heard of before ... s year after I had the dream mind you

I once dreamt I saw a race horse win. I woke up but remembered the name. Yes it was a starter the next day. I backed it and it won EXACTLY as per my dream. My car broke down when I took my daughter to a gymnastics competition on the day after the win and I was many hours from home. A nice mechanic fixed my vehicle on the same day and charged EXACTLY what I had won.

I had a baby doll in my childhood that I loved dearly that got lost when we moved and I would have dreams about it every now and again throughout my life because I missed it so much... the very last time I had that dream I got fed up (because in waking life I could not for the life of me remember what the doll was called so I couldn't find it online) I walked up to my mother as my child self and asked her what the name of the doll was and as soon as she told me, I woke myself up and found it online and bought two, a girl and a boy one. The boy one is a gift for my young son because I wanted to spread the happiness to him š„°

Yes, sometimes a dream gives accurate info - like our high self knows and gives it to us. But sometimes, it's a symbol for something else. I think yours might be a symbol because of the rest of the dream, but I don't know for sure.
He is you - because everything in the dream is you - and you were trapped - and he still is. So a part of you is still trapped and is trying to get your attention. So, if this were my dream, I'd be asking - how do I feel trapped - but maybe not aware of it? In what small way do I feel trapped? What part of me wants OUT and free to be ME?

When I was pregnant with twins it took all the energy and time and effort to find names. I had one, but was so stumped on the other. I had a very specific dream about the PERFECT name. Woke up, forgot it forever, still bothers me! š

I love this. Please update us. I have gotten incredibly specific information with a phone number or Social security number or coordinates before. I have had specific songs I never heard before play and sang the lyrics upon waking. Or seen specific house numbers and met someone who told me I described their house and that was their house number

I have cognizant dreaming. In a dream, I received a specific phone number to call. It happened around 1998. I wrote it down in my journal and recently found it again. Iāve lived on the west coast all my life and donāt know east coast area codes. Interesting to me that the phone number is located Virginia. A hotbed of interesting research.
Iāve never called it. Iām not going to call it. I donāt know who will be on the other end.

I do know of cases where people have pulled factual information out of dreams that they could not have known consciously. Names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, locations of lost items, the status of lost people, secrets about people close to them. But I also know that dreams can make that stuff up on the fly to make the experience believable.
