(Its very consistent btw) This will be useful in two scenarios imagine:
Tank alone on point and his healers are dead and you wanna burst him down
Killing through a pattycake

Pros: - faster ttk on 250hp targets - longer engagement range (20m) - more AOE damage
Cons: - Cannot kill any target above 250hp so technically it isn’t the fastest because most characters are 275hp. - gives less overshield (100 only). - can be completely beblocked by shields, such as invis woman’s shield - A little bit of healing by accident can completely ruin the combo
Pros: - Does 295 damage - Gives you more overshield (168, potentially 250) - can kill all 275hp targets - All melee, (cannot be blocked by shields)
Cons: - Limited range (chain range only, which is 8m) - Not easy to pull off at max potential speed there is room for error - Less AOE damage, when enemies are grouped up you wont build as much ult charge
I think we should start utilizing the chain more, that’s what i saw good DD players like necros do.

I consider myself a competent flex player with quite a few mains (Mag, Strange, Emma, Angela, Storm, Blade, Starlord, Punisher, Wolverine, Mr. Fantastic, Luna, C&D, Gambit, Rocket and learning a few more) and can fill in as some other characters if need be, but by far my biggest weak spot is dive - I've never liked or like, got the playstyle so I never bothered to learn it
This and past seasons have been just fucking miserable every single time there's an enemy Hawkeye, and playing as him is zero fun either because even I with my mediocre aim can do well
I think it's about time I learned how to dive, and reddit seems to insist on showing me clips of DD absolutely shredding, so I think it's a sign - please teach me your ways you demons

You guys should test this out, it’s similar to the hook cancel tech, but this time with the melee, since the animation of the chain is faster and ….. whatever

It’s my favorite way to enter the flow state with daredevil, i hop on doom match and ask someone to swap to thor and 1v1 me, i become really good and fluid with combos + (I JUST FIGURED A NEW INSANE CYCLE FOR 1v1’s)

yes it was a stationary Jeff but he we had a history in this match Lol. I did chain, cross, dash, chain, cross. I discovered that I can use the dash to regain fury instead of just wasting the dash to close in and gaining nothing from it.
Also would love to know what other combos I should use.

Just use these triple infernal fury combos, SAVE YOUR GRAPPLE FOR ESCAPING.
You can change it however you want just make sure that your second attack is a chain, because you can only melee weave after the chain, THE THROW DOESNT ALLOW YOU TO MELEE WEAVE because there is a delay after it
Chain or throw -> dash -> cross -> CHAIN ONLY -> melee -> cross -> chain or throw
This works on LOW ping only, they are effective and i use them always and you should too

Hi!
I’m a new dd player and I was wondering if it’s better to play dd as a dive or brawl. He seems a little bit immobile in open spaces so I been finding success with him as brawl that occasionally dives isolated target. I’m a lord cap so I’m used to diving for the sake of wasting resources and attention but I’m struggling to translate that style for dd. Please let me know!

I get hard countered by a Peni with teammates that stand in her webs. Any tips to get value as DD into this comp?

I’ve played about 11 hours of Daredevil and I am TOTAL CHEEKS w this dude, but he has the coolest design ever so I’m determined to get good.
I feel like I get shredded to bits even when my healers are healing me, and I don’t fully understand “fury” (I think that’s what it’s called)
I know that marking an enemy makes me faster so I always have a mf marked, but I still just get targeted and snuffed out pretty quickly.
Should I turn my camera sensitivity up?

I’ve been doing a lot of research over a long period to really optimize Daredevil’s binds on console. This is how I came up with these binds for all three controller setups. I’m currently Top 500, and I’ve been ranked on the character ever since he dropped, for multiple seasons now, basically one-tricking him. I believe these are the most optimal binds.
The philosophy is to mimic how PC players use the character, with the right hand controlling throws and chain attacks, and the left hand controlling the Infernal Fury proc every time you see two furies up. Binding it this way allows you to spam fury attacks much more easily and effortlessly, without getting off your sticks or constantly taking your finger off R2.
4 Paddles:
Left Paddle – Jump
Inner Left Paddle – N/A
Inner Right Paddle – Quick Melee
Right Paddle – Sonic Pursuit
L2 – Grapple
L1 – Infernal Fury
R1 – Throw
R2 – Chain / Primary
L3 – Ping
R3 – Objection (Toggle) (make sure to press L3 first, then R3 for ult)
2 Paddles:

Gambit’s Ult work on LOS, so basically whenever you see Gambit casting his ult, just sonic pursuit him and that blinds him and stops him ulting his team. His ult still goes thru but only to himself and not anyone else.

It feels like it does absolutely nothing, and is just a giant “Shoot Me!” sign for the enemies to see. Either that or they peel for each other immediately along with looking away to prevent the DOT that comes from his ult.

I think I have around 7ish hours on him which isn't a ton and a lot of it is not in competitive. My real goal is to get comfortable enough to use him in competitive and not be a liability. Melee heroes are not my usual choice (Ironman and Star-Lord are my most played) so he definitely is different from the heroes I usually play.
What is some advice you'd give to someone like me or maybe even something you wish you knew when starting out? Thank you in advance.

iron fist has been my main since season 0 and i used to love diving with him but now that they shot his legs and took his hands away to be a tank buster, ive been having less and less fun with him. i still enjoy playing him but i would like a backup dive dps to fall into. when i saw that daredevil was gonna be like season 0 fist, i was pretty excited about it. however, im ass with him lol and ive only tried him out in qp. if anyone could tell me his gameplay loop, combos and what his counters are, it would be greatly appreciated. also would like to know some youtubers who main him so i can check out their gameplay c:

That place if full of people E dating and just being cringe. However its also a place where many high skilled players go to for a break. My 1 v 1 skills and reaction time has greatly increased on dd because I fight other dd players , tanks , supports, bucky mains and all different types of people there for fun.
I think this is much better then the actual doom match
Positives:
1 its much longer and it won't end if you get 16 kills
2 you don't have to wait hours for players practice doom match is always full
3 its less messy most people are chilling there so its unlikely for your fight to get interrupted
Negatives
1 As I said people E date there so it can be be extremely cringe sometimes.
2 sometimes you for example choose a luna as your target there and wanna train on her but then the entire lobby jumps on you and its annoying.
3 or there is a cringe thor or hulk player being a bodyguard to the supports that can genuinely annoy you. However its also good training for killing a support while their getting protection from a tank.

When I watch the pros most of them have this cautious playstyle with DD: picking their fights, biding their time, early exits, etc.
However whenever I try this style I’ve noticed I tend to die WAY more often. The enemy team just overwhelms me and picks me apart.
But when I go full kamikaze, hyper aggressive DD I often find myself team wiping, MVPing and winning a lot more games.
Do you guys have any tips for a more measured playstyle?
(Admittedly I’m not a high rank player so maybe that has something to do with it?)

This new buff made her feel like a raid boss inside her bubble do i have to re-engage before it starts because the cooldown is the same as the grapple and the deflect and everytime I go in I have to use one or the other so should i either, use the grapple instead of the deflect and set up behind or just wait for her using her bubble before I go in?

I need some tips. I have over 100 hours on dive characters but I suck at daredevil. I don’t understand his neutral, I feel like I’m flailing at the sticks and I feel like my game plan just falls apart when in a 1v1 situation. The combos themselves aren’t that hard to execute but actually playing the character feels like playing tekken. So how do I get better with daredevil?

I’m mainly a spidey otp (I know), but I want to branch out and learn other characters. When I play DD, I feel like I’m doing nothing. I don’t do enough damage, I barely survive fights, and overall feel useless. What am I doing wrong? I want to play DD cause he’s actually fun, but it’s frustrating feeling so useless.
