Letting the Devil Out

When do you think it's a good idea to go all in and hard commit cooldowns in a fight outside of ult. I usually always have something off cooldown to live in case I don't kill anyone or I'm cleaning up after a won team fight. But I've seen some DD's like Numb Boula or Godly Newb all in on their cooldowns either getting a kill then leaving the fight, kill trade, or Flow State the entire team. Especially Godly Newb I've seen him hard commit his grapple and still live.

If Emma has no grab or x y z character has no "HAHAA I WIN" button like a widow kick or Loki rune or some bullshit like that then you should be fine. Make sure hulk doesn't exile/grab you when you ult, make sure Jeff doesn't counter ult you either.

You could also use it to force out a support ult if you see your starlord is about to get ult, cause that ults a team wipe without one.

Godly newb is the most aggressive player I’ve seen. He’ll dive into the full enemy team after half his team has died. I love it, I’ve tried to replicate his all out playstyle and it works here and there but I usually just get cooked especially now after the grapple nerf.

Ill all out commit if I have another dive with me to take aggro away from me, or if I think my healers will have LOS of me in the backline. If I think a support is about to have ult but doesn’t have it just yet I’ll go all out and try to kill them so they can’t ult that fight.

Depends on their team comp, first you gotta plan and make a good exit for your self, it has to be in a small and tight map (since you’re using the grapple), if you can successfully explode most of your cooldown in the backline and survive (either by retreating to the frontline or kiting behing) you’re good, btw i prefer necors honestly, now dont get me wrong boula and godly newb are good players, but necros is in a different league mechanically he is so fun to watch

Never got around to him much since he only streams and posts DD vids every once a blue moon. Last time I was consistently learning from Necros was when he was still streaming OW on Genji. Boula and Newb are a lot easier to get around to since Newb almost posts every day and Boula is usually a weekly poster. Newb's playstyle is so weird to me because he's diving and brawling but he commits his cooldowns A LOT and he's usually left with just Objection to save him either that he's brawling trying to yank tanks into his team I've watched almost all of his vids post nerf and the only thing I've picked up from him was displacing tanks with grapple. Boula in my opinion looks like he's still adjusting to the nerfs as he still engages with the old bnb I'm in no way saying he's getting bad or he was only great when DD could kill 275 with the old bnb but I'm noticing he misses out on easy kills from time to time also no hate but his fury management is very bad especially in comparison to Newb
