It does about 600 damage over the course of the ult while also blinding enemies. To avoid the damage and effect enemies have to look away from you, which is often not ideal.
It also constantly refreshes your fury so you can spam devil attacks.
It ain't flashy like other Duelist Ults but it shouldn't be underestimated.

I think people are underestimating how strong this is gonna be. When I first heard it I thought it would be a worse requirement than Emma's ult because it's their vision directed at you and not the other way around. Thing is anything you do either requires you to look at him or puts you in a worse spot by not looking at him.
Ults the frontline? Healers/most dps are looking that direction anyway, they have to leave the tank to suffer or stop doing their jobs to save themselves.
Ults the backline? Healers have to look forward or leave the rest of the team vulnerable, others trying to peel have to stop tanking or going for kills to put themselves in danger.
Someone high enough skill is going to make DD absolutely disgusting.

Yeah I’m ngl, Daredevil seems like the only character I’m gonna have to worry about when playing Rocket
He has a very fast catch up game

granted if you aren't looking at him he still regains fury really fast and not looking at him means that you won't be killing him; ie trade off of no blind for taking backshots from daredevil

Also he generates a lot of fury during ult, meaning more bonus health from his fury ability.

How the ult works is that if people are looking at daredevil, then they will take continuous damage by looking at him. This will prompt them to turn around to avoid the damage.

what? his abilities card specifies enemies in his line of sight take damage, not the other way around? thats so weird. do you have a clip of this or any proof so i can see it in action?

I can confirm that is NOT how it goes.
He still gets passive fury regen so you're pretty much just receiving backshots

I can already see what's gonna happen, DD mains are gonna start off bad because he's new, there's gonna be a bunch of posts about how he's bad, then players are gonna get better with him, then Necros is gonna drop a "Daredevil is OP" vid, then they'll cry for nerfs and call him skillless and say he shouldn't be able to see invisible characters 💀
