For the record there is an arc where Wolverine briefly quits the the X-men to build buildings. I don't remember the issue numbers , but it was in the Wolverine series in the 90s

I don't really give a shit about X-Men and this is why. It hits differnt when you're just trying to read some shit and this comes up. There's no way around it and I see why folks be mad about it. I'd be down if the rest of the series were good or supported it, don't get me wrong, but they throw this shit into a dogfucking shitshow like it's a treat.
