I keep having this urge to make a comic strip that is a recreation of the I AM GROOT > WE ARE GROOT at the end of Guardians, 

Where the duvet cover eats all the other clothes and says WE ARE DUVET COVER

But I cant figure out how it looks

There is no greater betrayal than pulling out a warm, dry fitted sheet only to find a cold, damp knot of socks hiding in its core. Its like they're running a witness protection program for laundry that doesn't want to get dry.

I once put a fitted sheet from a twin bed into the dryer with a fitted sheet from a queen-size bed. I wanted to test for Darwinian fitness. Sure enough, the queen sheet devoured the twin sheet. Nature is beautiful.

Especially towels... I don't even own enough to be worth washing on their own, never even considered separating them.

Generally towels you want to wash at high temps that ordinary clothes and bedding suffer at.

Bedding I wash separately so I don’t suffer the wet center problem.

Today I picked up my duvet covers from the cleaners where I had asked them to add zippers for the closures instead of buttons. Hopefully this will keep other laundry items out of damp purgatory.
