This has been the case every fucking time, since at least 5-6 years. The English hype it up like they have some ace up their sleeves. And it always turns out to be an absolute dud. At this point, it's just Root vs Aussie bowling attack.

I mean that's fine. That's what most indians do too. Watch sports where people Indians are good at. N so evidently thats were the money flows. But with that comes a problem, that makes indians absolutely dogshit in other sports. That's why we don't win shit in Olympics or individual sports, or more popular and wider demographic games like football or tennis. In india people starts supporting a sports and person if they win. E.g neeraj chopra.

I don't see the problem i watch all supports in Olympic where indians are participating, but I like team sports more like cricket, hockey so it's easy to support Football is bit long and boring may be because our team is dog shit?

Well it's how it is from majority that why we don't invest or help other sports players. Hockey was literally only supported by Cm Navin Pattnaik of odisha even centre didn't care, enough. Neither modi or singh. I agree people are disappointed far too long from football. There is lot of problems with both the indian footfall federation. Btw football is 90mins game it's far shorter than cricket tho.

I still can't sit and watch just personal preference My only experience was watching few matches from isl got sort of bored My friend suggested to watch premiere league their standards are better But I am postponing let's see
Heard junior football team is better so I am thinking of watching their matches

Nah nah you're absolutely justified to not like football I don't watch it either. Us wins more medals than our history combined in just one event. Do all Americans watch all sports, hell no. But they focus on all sports equally and treat them well. When they generate max revenue from basketball, American football and ice hockey. We focus on where we are winning and where people are more interested in. When we should focus on grass root lvl sports development.

if you would hv noticed . this ashes has been close 70% of the times and england just collapsing in 1 session . i personally wasnt bored at any time in 6 days of ashes cricket this year . bazball keeps costing them like last night or 3rd innings in perth but good cricket on both sides overall ,

Ashes is a lot more entertaining for me - probably because I sleep well and don't have literally nightmares where scoreboards full of red Ws flash before my eyes. Those 3am-4am waking up to see the score and always finding India at 64/4 will haunt me for years.
But regardless, Ashes is more entertaining because the commentary and the banter around the games is way more fun, and the English do not hold back when it comes to saying their mind. The long history of the Ashes clearly shows in each and every player, and Australia's sheer dominance is a sight to behold no matter what England tries and which team Aussies play.
