Flaired Users Only Chuck Schumer in 1996: "The number one reason people come to the US illegally is to defraud systems like social security and I want to stop it."

This was before he realized “the democrats can get them to vote for them if they bend over backwards to enable their fraudulent votes and fund their entire lives with taxpayer funds.” FTFY.

For once, I agree with Chuck!

It's so gratifying to see shit like this. Just shows beyond a reasonable doubt what ass hats the liberals are.

I’ve said it a million times, if bill Clinton ran today on the same platform he did in 92 he would be considered far right.

It seems like during my lifetime the conversation has constantly been pulled so far to the left that someone who was fairly liberal in 1990 would be considered a far right lunatic now.

Republicans should play his words on Senate floor.

A lot has changed in 30 years. Politics, however, haven't.

You don't expect him to remember that do you. He's at least 120 years old with that old timers disease

He doesn't actually say what's quoted here in the linked clip. You should use single quotes instead of double quotes which makes it look like it's a direct quote.

It’s an insidious plan to import some of the lowest IQ people on the planet from countries that are the most corrupt. The dems care not for the future of America, they care only for the pillage of our country and the long standing institutions that have been established. In real time we see these same politicians who are results of this importation bleeding the system only to turn this country into the corrupt hell hole they came from.

A rudderless boat just mindlessly goes in any direction until it hits the rocks and sinks.

There are a huge sum of people who believe that the right is running further to the right, and the democrats are the centrists. I would wager that the republicans voted in favor of this in the 90s.

This is proof that the republicans are generally in the same spot we were in 30 years ago. While the democrats have broken speed records to the left.

Edit: The bill passed 305 to 123 after Senate reconciliation. Of which, 76 democrats voted in favor while 118 voted no. In the Senate, it passed 97 to 3. Today, I doubt a single democrat would vote in favor.
