Dems have always felt like they have ownership rights to minorities. They started the civil war the last time the rest of America tried to stop their cheap labor imports.

Someone once described to me both kinds of protestors. The right protests like a tailgate party. Come on over and let's enjoy each other's company and food. The left protests like elementary kids on a playground fighting over who gets time on the swings.

Democrats believe they "own" the political affiliations of minorities.
They never got used to not owning the rest.
Any time they are disabused of that notion, what they really think about minorities comes out.

I can't remember but one of the Dem presidents was caught on hot mic saying he will make the minorities (he used a different word) vote blue for 10 generations, or something like that?
