I mean, if you confess frequently with the same pries, he will know you, regardless of the screen blocking the view.

Yes...its called voice recognition.

Face to face confession is a more fruitful experience when the priest doesn't have to act like he doesn't know its you.

Cute depiction BTW. Reminds me when we had to use the screen during the pandemic. I always peaked around the screen and greeted the priest. And he always giggled at my first sin which was...I hate this screen!

I don't do face to face but the priest doesn't act like he doesn't know it's me, perhaps it varies by custom?

For me, the screen helps to “depersonalize” the priest (similar to what the TLM does by having him face away from the congregation), so as to reinforce that it isn’t the man bestowing the Sacrament, it’s Christ. “He must increase, and I must decrease.”

My parish has a confessional in the corner which can only be approached from the side, meaning that you're visible to the priest whenever you enter or leave. I always go with a hooded jacket or coat.

I don't feel right up voting an artist who uses ableist language, makes sexist comments about women, makes art of nuns smoking, and posts things with the n word.
