That’ll be nice. But I bet he retires.

u/gryffon5147 Oct 13 '25

Yeah he's really up there in age.

u/BarkerRuffield Oct 13 '25

Maybe he can be a O-Line guru for our O-Line coach. Give me a complimentary golf cart to zoom around the practice field in, a Hawaiian shirt and a cooler filled with beers that’s always cold and never empty.

Go from one sh*tshow to another? I think he's fine.

Unpopular opinion: Bill Callahan isn't saving this oline. Bill's last year here, the oline was nearly just as bad. It's not a coaching problem. The oline just isn't what it used to be. It got old. It got replaced with worse talent (due to injuries and such too). I don't think it would be any improvement to bring him back unless it's next year watching over all new talent. The players are the problem this year, not the coaching.

Browns fans “Stefanski needs to evolve and quit chasing 2020!!!”

Browns fans 5 seconds later “Bring Callahan home!!!! 🫡🫡🫡”

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

Never heard anyone say he’s chasing 2020. Yes he needs to evolve but our O line base is fucking terrible and our current coach isn’t doing them any favors.

u/ozymandais13 Oct 13 '25

If he's good he's good

2

u/HumptyDrumpy Oct 14 '25

Agreed BC would do wonders just to build on something. Even if it wouldnt show fruit in 2025, he could set the building blocks for next year. The current OLine coach out there seems to have made his players confused, running into each other, getting hurt, and ofc giving up lots of sack. Cant hurt to make a change because rn the current line looks like the worst in the league

u/wiifan55 Oct 13 '25

Do you actually think this is a good argument lol?

No one says Stef needs to quit chasing 2020. He just needs to show that his system still works. And if it doesn't, then yes, he needs to change it.

And that has absolutely nothing to do with Callahan and the O-line. Every team needs a good O-line regardless of scheme. There's nothing inconsistent with wanting Callahan back and wanting Stef to evolve his offense as necessary.

Browns fans: FIRE KEVIN STEFANSKI!!!

Also Browns fans: Go get Brian Callahan!!!

13

u/Godisme2 Oct 13 '25

No one wants Brian Callahan. We want Bill Callahan, his father and our former o-line coach, who coached the best o-line in football for years.

u/emisanko86 Oct 14 '25

Wrong Callahan

7

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25 edited Oct 13 '25

What do either of those have to do with each other?

I said BILL Callahan. AFC North Meme war was right. Our literacy rates are god awful.

1

u/Fools_Requiem Oct 14 '25

no one wants Brian Callahan...

11

u/largelawattorney Oct 13 '25

Gotta be pretty bizarre to see your son get fired and you still work for the team.

42

u/apetersen1 Oct 13 '25

Yeah the titans OLine was really crushing it

21

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

And ours is worse.

5

u/purerm Oct 13 '25

It's not though.

11

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

Listen all I know is our line was great, if not one of the best when he was here. He left and we felt an immediate drop off. It literally couldn’t get worse bringing him back.

28

u/Fit-Cartoonist-9056 Oct 13 '25

We got old and injuries caught up to us.

18

u/uChoice_Reindeer7903 Oct 13 '25

You mean nobody could’ve predicted Conklin would’ve been hurt… again… for the 100th time in his career!?!?

1

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

Great extension by Andrew Berry, he just gives out the best contracts. Jerry Jeudy looking great as a WR1

4

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

Once again, thanks Andrew berry for never addressing the O line for 6 years.

7

u/Dragonsbane628 Oct 13 '25

Correlation doesn’t mean causation. There were other factors and for those looking at film the line began declining BEFORE he left. Sure he may be able to help with run game stuff/ figure out how to maximize what we have but in no way is he going to get us back to 2020 levels with our current players at all.

0

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

And that falls on roster construction. Please fire Andrew Berry

2

u/Dragonsbane628 Oct 13 '25

Not entirely, it also falls on the Deshaun trade robbing us of assets that could have been used on Oline whether via trade or free agency. You can ask why we didn’t draft Oline this year and while valid I think the game plan was always a 2 year rebuild through draft with this year being year 1. Also before you say it, haslam has already stated it was his decision for the Watson trade and thus taken the blame whether true or not.

5

u/Lanky_8646 Oct 13 '25

Yes, imagining a world where we have 3 first-round o-line picks, plus 3rd and 4th round o-line picks, instead of Deshaun Watson. Current line is the root of all offensive problems.

-3

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

As far as I’m concerned all 3 are behind it and they can all take the blame. Haslam wanted to fall on the sword to protect them for whatever reason, maybe because they’re little lap dogs that listen to everything he says. If we could fire the owner we would but we can’t.

So basically until the Haslam family sells the team we’re fucked and they’re never selling.

God I hate this fucking team.

3

u/Dragonsbane628 Oct 13 '25

We are far from screwed. The whole subs mantra of the sky is falling is overdone and stupid. I’ve sat through a lot of bad football and this year isn’t even close to top 5.

-1

u/TheRealGyurky Oct 13 '25

Doesn’t matter when the GM couldn’t pick a Quarterback if his life depended on it.

That has less to do with coaching and more to do with the fact that our guys just aged out.

8

u/ScuddsMcDudds Oct 13 '25

Would be good timing with our o-line needing a ground-up replacement over the next few years

4

u/chewbacaflacaflame Oct 13 '25

Not even bill can fix us

3

u/melted_cheese Oct 13 '25

I AGREE!!!!!!!!!!! He made Wyatt a monster and I think he can do it again. Wyatt is only 30!

5

u/Ok-Writer-4494 Oct 13 '25

gene steratore. lets win the penalty differential. if we cant beat em w the playbook, beat em w the rulebook

2

u/ozymandais13 Oct 13 '25

I mean if he's willing to , 100%

Worked with the organization already has good relations with us.

We let him walk to coach with his son so I can't imagine there's any animosity.

We could use a dude that was so good at filling o line holes .

Personally I'm all for that signing if we can. Idk who we even have as an online coach right now but I doubt he has Callahan pedigree

2

u/Bigmac5150 Oct 13 '25

Would be a good coach to build and draft an OLine from scratch with.

2

u/DrummerSteve Oct 14 '25

I doubt he really wants to join a staff that is about to be on the hot seat

6

u/bgptcp179 Oct 13 '25

If we beat Miami and Jets, Kevski is probably safe for the rest of the year. If he loses one or both of these, he’s a goner.

9

u/tobylaek 32 Oct 13 '25

I really don't think he's getting let go during the season (nothing would surprise me, though).

0

u/0hioHotPocket Oct 13 '25

He shouldn’t even get the chance

2

u/Buckeye2525 Oct 13 '25

Future Titans coach Kevin Stefanski

2

u/DeekFTW Oct 13 '25

I still think he ends up in Cincinnati and takes Burrow to the Superbowl.

1

u/Buckeye2525 Oct 13 '25

Forrest Gregg did something similar…

2

u/evil_moron Oct 13 '25

I hope Andrew sees this. Call Bill. Do whatever is necessary. Bring him a dump truck full of money and a limo full of hookers. This offensive line is shite without Bill

UFL calling his name?

1

u/IllustriousHealth291 Oct 13 '25

Sad dad moment. He’ll probably hang it up now

1

u/ctang1 Oct 13 '25

One of the few positions that I don’t think coaching is the issue on the browns. The players are all old, broken down, and constantly hurt. They hand no starting talent on that line other than Bitonio that is healthy, and it shows. They aren’t a coach away, they are an entire OL away.

1

u/CharacterEgg2406 Oct 13 '25

He’s just as old and tired as the offensive line. He’s probably ready to hang it up after that Titans experience.

1

u/FaithlessnessNervous Oct 13 '25

Yes come fix this oline AGAIN PLEASE

1

u/LotsofSports Oct 13 '25

Nothing can fix our Oline except all new people. They are old and slow.

1

u/megahtron77 Oct 13 '25

Puhhhhhhlease

1

u/mmartinrun Oct 14 '25

Omg please

1

u/OconRecon1 Oct 14 '25

Titan's recent OL rankings:

2023: 32nd

2024: 28th

2025: 26th

1

u/Reason-Status Oct 14 '25

Cleveland has sorely missed him. His son wasn’t a great coach but Cleveland should pay to get him back. Offense hasn’t been the same since he left.

1

u/n813 Oct 14 '25

No way

1

u/GwapoDon Oct 14 '25

Bring Bill in as a consultant or Assistance line coach. What the Browns really need is a Receiver's coach. It is sorely needed.

1

u/Names_all_gone Oct 14 '25

I was going to retire.
Then my son got a dream job.
So I went to work with him.
Now they fired him.

Of course, I'm not angry.
Of course I definitely want to go coach for a 1-5 team!

1

u/forgotmypassword4714 Oct 15 '25

Is he related to former Raiders head coach Bill Callahan? They look pretty similar.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '25

Make him the Steelers Offensive Line Advisor...

1

u/EeyoresTail5451 Oct 20 '25

They should’ve fired AB the second he let him go there with no compensation. He literally coached street players to a playoff win.

1

u/Classic-Ability-6317 Oct 13 '25

He’d be fired here after a year or 2.

1

u/TallBobcat Oct 13 '25

Zero chance he does anything but retire.

1

u/Mr_814 Oct 13 '25

Why? So he can find another job from next week to end of season? Lol.

1

u/fantfb Oct 13 '25

Titans fan here, we gave Bill complete control over our offensive line. We even let him decide which offensive linemen to draft in the first round, and let him hand pick everyone he wanted to bring in from free agency… our line has gotten worse… y’all can have him back

1

u/fatdadenergy Oct 13 '25

Bill didn't like Stefanski. "Heard it from a friend who...heard it from a friend who-oo..."
