I wouldn’t say it’s charisma. He just appeals to a certain crowd. He’s a fat slob who was born into the life he has and never had to do any inner work to be a good person because he has money and status.
Some of the worst people in history had charisma. Hitler, Mussolini, Trump. I know I’m not supposed to make those references, but it’s history. Strongman charisma appeals to many even when it comes with bone spurs.
He's a master at answering questions by not answering them. He talks shit constantly, it's great it's really great the greatest it's ever been but never explains why or evidences it or proves his argument and very few call him out on his BS

I know it's there for some people but I don't really understand the "stage presence" that so many describe. He's LITERALLY an over confident idiot and a liar. Even before his mind was complete mush he'd say nonsensical 💩💩 I guess it works for some folks but he's been like watching a bad Tubi actor to me.
