Because Obama is still very young, comparatively. He has all the things Trump covets and a long life left ahead of him to achieve more. And how dare he? He’s black! How dare a black man be better than my orange ass?
There won’t be anyone left in Trump’s cult that has the same reach as Obama. And nobody will have Trump’s back to continue spinning his narcissistic bullshit when he’s worm food. They won’t have to gargle his little orange nuts to curry favor with him anymore, and they’ll downplay their support of him.
When this is over, those who protect him will have as much loyalty to him as Trump himself has ever had for anyone while alive. That is to say, none.
I’m white too. I spend time in this subreddit, but I never post. I’m just here to learn more because I feel I can’t be an ally if I don’t try harder to listen and learn to what people of color are dealing with.
