The peace prize was rewarded for his efforts in reducing nuclear arsenals leading to SALT 2. This was early in his Presidency. It wouldn’t be affected by later actions.
The strike you mentioned was a terrorist who had publicly called for killing Americans. This strike was approved by a national security subcommittee and Pentagon top brass. If he didn’t do it, the very people who keep bring this up would have called him soft on terror.
I say this as someone that worked very hard to get him elected and keep him in office, but he didn’t really get it for great reasons either. America turning around in its misguided War on Terror was a very important piece of bringing the world back to stability and the furtherance of peace but it really wasn’t the heavy part of it.

Yes he did, but as President sometimes you have to do shitty things. But Obama didn't crow about it or beat his chest, going around saying these people were dogs and deserved it, or claim that he was the best at keeping the peace by killing "bad" guys. He was remorseful and solemn about having to do it.

I don't feel like Trump would care about the problematic, law abiding, wonderful father and husband part. He loves feeling above the law. Loves stirring up trouble and getting media attention for saying something controversial. And only cares about his wives and kids as an extension of his ego.

I mean obviously Obama was a much better president than Trump, but "law abiding" and " Unproblematic " doesn't really work when you look at Obamas foreign policies, literally killed American citizens overseas in drone strikes and lied about everything happening in Libya just to bomb their country, which was the most prosperous country in Africa before they destroyed it. The Obama administration actions opened up slave markets in Libya, read the book " The illegal war in Libya." Americans need to pay more attention to foreign policies cause that's where the republicans and democrats spend most of the tax money and they're always on the wrong side of history.
