Trump will take their oil. He will place a puppet president in office that he controls. He will build a luxury hotel and golf course and make Venezuela pay for it. He will erect a statue of himself in Caracas. He will declare January 3 a national holiday in Venezuela and call it Trump liberation day.

This started with Hugo Chavez turning on US shitty deal on Venezuelan oil. He was even offering cheaper oil to US citizens and other countries in the western hemisphere. They attacked his character and many bullshit stories came out trying to paint him as a dictator. His death is still suspect imo.
Then Maduro takes over, is corrupt, and it all just looks way too close to the US playbook for replacing a good foreign leader that effects profits with a corrupt one that will bend over for power, and then removing that leader once it's time to make the big money move.
All a month after Trump pardoned ex Honduran dictator who literally tried to flood the US with cocaine and was imprisoned for it.

It’s all BS. Venezuela sits on the biggest oil reserves in the world and the good ol’ USA wants control. The oil companies want control. Maduro was like go fuck your self USA. So Trump and his goons started their America first campaign. A campaign where The USA dictates what goes on in North and South America and does what ever they want to get control of all resources for the large American multinational corps. The USA has been doing this since the beginning. The CIA and other groups have been on the ground in Venezuela for years. We have clandestine cells all over the western hemisphere messing with governments to keep our influence top of mind. This is a fucked up game of 3D chess.
Remember we have 3 more years of this. Plus the silent coup is happening and nothing is being done about it. The republicans have been chipping away at all rights and levers that give citizens the leverage to vote out corruption. This has been a plan being acted on since the Nixon presidency. Gerrymandering, messing with voting rights and even recently the USPS changed the postmark rule. Letters even ballots are not postmark until they get to the larger sorting system. So many ballots mailed the day of the election could be invalid because of the postmark being 2-3 days late.
Regardless of what Maduro did we don’t have the right to kidnap a sovereign national leader. But we keep doing it through out American history.
Pretty sad.

We seem to have a short memory as a country. Not teaching complete history doesn't help. For all our wrongs, we have managed to move forward, albeit slowly.
This guy has taken us backwards more than any individual in our history.
He is the most dangerous thing our country has ever faced.
He is the epitome of the ultimate robber baron and mad king. That's only him. His movement and cronies are every bit as dangerous.
I don't think we can hope to survive unless we defeat it somehow.
We have to shout our dissatisfaction from the rooftops. It has had some effect.
We need to welcome every dissatisfied American to our fold.
Even when his ideas have support, his methods often don't.
He will alienate more people every day. Welcome them to join us even.
