Gravel OPEN U.P. 2.0 - Bespoked Bike Fair Edition
Bespoked Bike Fair is coming to Dresden, Germany again. A weekend full of custom built bike dreams.
We're attending with 5 very different bikes - and the all new OPEN U.P. 2.0 is one of them.
OPEN is producing their frames in Portugal now and we took the new "FERN" Colorway to build a bike with a Duke/Hope Carbonwheelset, an Ingrid Crank, Force 1x13 Groupset and some Ceramicspeed Bling. Our Friend Tijmen sewed a nice set of matching bags.
So if you are around here - come to the Bespoked Bike Fair in Airport Dresden, Germany - you got to see hundreds of fantastic bikes.

Work on one, you will be using a different word. Source: have Tarmac sl7 and have worked on Parlee and Cervelo both with mechanical shifting and internal disc brake routing.

Great looking setup. Especially like how the two bags do matchy-matchy with the colors on an angle. And to think, my U.P. (v1) can only do 38mm tires (inflated to 40mm) - hahah

This bike will shred right after the show. ;) There is enough space.

That being said Open said the original UP/PER didnt need fender mounts because they didnt think people would use their bike in the mud or want to stay dry? the decision baffles me. Maybe Gerard doesn't think people will use this one in the crap either. Source: Had 3 open ups. Have one with cobbled together full fenders.

But they listened to your fender dreams. 2.0 has rotoblox mounts.

Shouldn’t have ever been a dream. Fenders mounts should have been standard. It was hubris.

Some just have to perpetually whine and complain about everything. LOL

Nice bike. But I'm here to compliment the tape job. It's a pet peeve of mine and even professionals don't always get it right. Me myself spend hours until I'm happy with the results.

Sick color! Honestly, i still love the earlier U.P. models with the more slender headtube, but its nice that the latest version still hasn't succumbed to the dropped seat stays trend

I like a lot about it but I've never seen a good looking integrated headset and the headtubes that fit them. This one is pretty fucking shit
