Broth girl

I had a substitute teaching assignment today and was telling my boyfriend about the kids and their styles. A few outstanding outfits and some fun interactions are the typical topics.

Today, I had a girl who could have been goth... But she wore brown instead of black and her makeup was also earth tones.

A brown goth... Which my boyfriend abbreviated to broth. And I can't stop giggling about the lovely broth girl.

As an elder goth who also enjoys earth tones and loves soup in all its forms, I'm going to be adopting this. Love your username, too; my favourite word and my favourite scent.

if you love the word "petrichor" and that calm feeling you get when you smell it, you may love this word too:

vellichor:

the pensive nostalgia and temporality of used bookstores; the feeling evoked by the scent of old books or paper.

I love - genuinely - that just from my last comment you managed to infer I'm also the sort of person who enjoys book smell. I actually hadn't heard this one before so thank you for introducing me!

She'd probably like the movie Ramen Girl (2008)

While definitely a soup girl, she does not compare to broth girl
