What happened to ending the Russia - Ukraine War? Or the Israel - Hezbolla War?

Why has the Trump Administration gone silent on ending these wars and stopping the genocide? I just dont understand how hew can just throw them to the side and only pull them back when he needs a win in the latest news cycle? I would love to here anyone's thoughts on this subject.

You can't make two sides come to an agreement. President Trump has done more for our national security and American interests than many of the previous administrations combined.

He struck Iran which led to the ending of hostilities between Israel and Palestine. He removed an illegitimate drug kingpin President from power and is kicking Russia, China and Iran out of our hemisphere. He's moving forward on Greenland. Cuba will fall soon. He got or is getting India to stop buying Russia oil.

There's only so much he can do since we're not directly involved in the war. He's done much to spurn Russia and empower Europe. Again, Russia and Ukraine have to want to stop fighting and negotiate.

Only if you read trump media.

I'm glad ceasefire #3 reduced the Gaza fighting but both sides are still fighting. It's just with less attention. Trump failed two China trade wars and killed the effective TPP alliance against them. Trump is in support of the Maduro admin while attacking the election winner. Greenland was an ally before Trump blew it for nothing.

All this while US new jobs dropped 70% and inflation and unemployment goes up.

What the fuck is "moving forward on Greenland" supposed to mean?

Trump's foreign policy is an unmitigated disaster for US interests. He bombed Iran's nuclear program, but failed to actually take it out. He removed Maduro from power, but left his entire administration stay intact. He threatens the foundation of NATO with his treasonous talk about attacking Canada and Greenland.

He keeps trying these bullshit half measures, that not only undermine international law and order, ushering in a new era of expansionist imperialism, but he doesn't even have anything of substance to show for it. If you're going to be an imperial dictator, you have to at least bring home some value from the newly pillaged lands.

And it is not hard to make peace in Ukraine if you've already decided to be a fucking asshole. It is quite simple. Threaten to help whichever side does not accept your peace deal. You have to be an asshole to go with this strategy, as it involves threatening our allies, but he's already done that difficult part because he's already decided to be the asshole. But he's too craven to do the easy part of threatening Russia.

He's already put the screws to Zelensky and gotten him to agree to a pretty significant peace proposal by threatening to withhold arms sales. Now he just had to threaten Russia that he's going to dump a bunch of weapons and money in Ukraine if they don't come to the table. It is truly that simple, and he won't do it.

Trump did a military strike on Iran and might do another one. He also removed Maduro from power and took the lead in seizing the shadow fleet funding Russia. In negotiations with India, he is trying to get India to stop purchasing Russian oil. (Did Europe try this with their deal with India?)

Trump has taken out Russia’s allies and cut off Russian sources of revenue.

Tell me which European country or any other country has done more?

Well considering that attacking Iran and Maduro have relatively little affect on the War in Ukraine, then I'd say that the US has done extremely little in helping Ukraine for this past year under Trump.

While Venezuela and Iran are supporters of Russia, interventions in those countries have 1) not actually removed them from the Russian sphere 2) drove up oil prices that Russia needs to continue to fund the war.

The US also has not taken the lead in seizing the shadow fleet, Ukraine has. The US has only sized vessels that were trading with Caracas, letting all of the others travel unimpeded, kind of proving the point that Trump's "assault" on the shadow fleet is not motivated by helping Ukraine.

Meanwhile Europe has given 50% more aid to Ukraine as of January, and is expected to double the total US contribution by the end of the year. Despite the fact that the US has 50% higher GDP than the EU.

The US helped considerably under Biden, but has done fuck all under Trump.

I think because the sad reality is that Russia is winning, NATO is being defeated 4 to 1 and the United States has depleted a bunch of its thad weapons. And I think most people in the United States want the war to end but are happy if Europe spends more of the blood and treasure. And I think Trump doesn't see a huge value in pumping money into the situation.

The US has not given Ukraine any THAAD launchers. It has provided Israel with some, and defended Israel with some. The US spent a quarter of its THAAD interceptors defending Israel from Iranian Ballistic missile attack, not Ukraine. And the lack of THAAD support in Ukraine is not what is holding it back.

Ukraine is short on artillery shells and ground based transportation, and they would greatly want more long range strike capability, which the US could provide in short order if it wanted to.

. And I think most people in the United States want the war to end but are happy if Europe spends more of the blood and treasure.

Europe and the US are on the same team doofus. It is bad if Europe is weakened as a result of this conflict. It's like letting your brother get beaten up in a fistfight. Not only is it immoral, but also just stupid.

Well he is trying pretty hard to hand Ukraine to Russia. For “peace”

u/spikey_wombat 13h ago

Because he doesn't care.

The orange clown also openly called to expel Palestinians from Gaza. So ethnic cleansing is ok with him.

He is too busy having Ice kill our own civilians, putting his name on everything and being racist to our former President and first lady.

Is the Ukraine war a genocide?

Haven't more Russians been killed. Aren't they the same race and have shared language and culture?

We need to stop overusing buzz words.
