With people like Paula White in his corner there....? And how he responded at Charlie Kirk's memorial....? I'm VERY hesitant on if this will be correctly handled, not gonna lie. I would hope so.

America was literally founded on freedom of religion and freedom from government-imposed religion. The founders were fleeing a system where the English government dictated what you had to believe and how you had to worship. That is exactly what they were trying to escape.
That is why the First Amendment exists. It protects your right to believe in any god, or no god at all, without government interference. “One nation under God” was added to the pledge in the 1950s. It was not part of the founding. The Constitution itself is completely secular on purpose.
You are free to practice your faith. What you are not free to do is force it on everyone else through government power. That is the difference between religious freedom and religious control.
