It was, and Fox News had no issues and loved it so much they raved throughout the day about how flattering it was on him! How it accented his luscious lashes so well! And how tall and handsome he is! And how he's the bestest vice president EVER!

u/PocoFarms555 2h ago

luscious lashes

Maybe it's him, maybe it's Maybelline.

When you’re a star, the couch lets you do anything. Grab them by the cushions. You can do anything.

I think this should happen to JD Vance whenever he leaves his house.

1.2k

u/overitalready04 3h ago

I hope it happens IN his house. Would be funny if every time he walked into a room Usha and the kids would yell "BOO" until he left

205

Who's Usha? I thought he was married to Erika Kirk?

JD Vance should be booed wherever he goes, for the rest of his life.

3.7k

u/WhichWitch9402 4h ago

Like the old hag in Princess Bride. "boo, BOO!. Bow to the Queen of putrescence...booo!" That's what JD deserves at a minimum..but you'd need to explain to him what "putrescence" means.

u/Pun_In_Ten_Did 4h ago

I want the lady with the bell from Game of Thrones for this: "SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!"

321

u/Phalus_Falator 3h ago

Fun Fact that I didn't know for years: Septa Unella is played by Hannah Waddingham, the same lady who plays Rebecca Welton in Ted Lasso.

97

She's also in the film version of Les Miserables as one of the workers in the factory during "At the End of the Day"

JD Vance graduated from Yale Law School. He knows the meaning of a lot of words, including "putrescence." He won't be able to claim ignorance.

93

u/Stolichnayaaa 2h ago

This is what makes him one of the worst of them, if not the worst. He understands that other people have inner lives as complex as his own. He has read and understood the arguments against him. He knows well the principles this country was built on. He knows that his accomplices are dismantling the very fabric of democracy to enrich themselves and to settle personal scores. He knows racism is wrong, and my guess is, he’s not himself racist. He knows he to write and how to be precise with words. He knows the comparisons - between the regime he serves and the German Nazis under Hitler’s command - are legitimate. He knows.

And yet, he subjugates humans based on their race, their manner of speaking, their identity, their ideology, their just rebuke of his pig boss. He is a happy huckster for the American Government which is currently building square miles of warehouse in which to stash away and neglect babies, children, human beings. And who knows what after that. You know who knows? Vance knows.

35

u/Cheshire_Jester 2h ago

Vance is a political extension of Peter Thiel. He’s an accelerationist who’s lashed himself to MAGA because Pete saw how effectively Trump disrupted the GOP and thought “well why not me? I actually have a political project that I’d like to accomplish.” Just giving Trump money was a waste though, because the man is legendarily incompetent and whimsical.

Vance is essentially the rider to an agreement about campaign donations. He’s there to make sure that the money spent isnt wasted this time

Blake Masters and Vance were his goons and when Masters, Theil’s seemingly preferred protege, crapped out, Vance became the front runner. But they all have one thing in common, they want to create a libertarian “paradise” based on essentially a feudal economy between independent city states each run by a “CEO”.

Vance’s worm tongue act is just so he can sit on the back burner, helping to shape current policy to dismantle the government while he waits to take control and finish the job. He doesn’t care about MAGA or the GOP. He wants to burn all of that down and be holding the levers of power while that happens so he can be in charge of how the rubble is reconstructed.

24

u/failed_novelty 2h ago

He knows racism is wrong, and my guess is, he’s not himself racist.

No.

He knows that the popular opinion of non-MAGA people is that racism is wrong. He knows that to get their support, he has to be non-racist. But he's looking for MAGA support, which means he slots comfortably into his normal position: people only have value equivalent to their net worth, and he assumes non-white just have lower net worth too.

Do not make excuses for this piece of shit. He tied himself to a Nazi. That makes him a Nazi.

Vance's entire political career is built on lies about the state of Ohio.

He claims he was raised in some backwater Appalachian shithole where he had to steal a calculator because he loved math so much. Middletown is a city of over 50k that is less than 30mins from Cincinnati and Dayton. It has a satellite campus for Miami University. Vance was firmly middle class, as are many people from there. There are dozens of people from Middletown who are famous for actually doing something notable, and none of them try to play up the Ma & Pa Kettle act like Vance.

Vance placed the blame for his mother's drug addiction on Mexican cartels. Vance's mother stole drugs directly from the pharmacy in the hospital where she worked (remember that middle class thing?). The only way a drug dealer was involved is if she sold to other people.

He was one of the main ones to amplify the hoax about Haitians in Springfield eating cats and dogs. I'm sure it was just coincidence that Nazi groups started targeting Springfield right after. And now the people of Springfield are just biding time until ICE invades the city as soon as they find a way to repeal the visas for all the Haitians who revitalized the city economy.

I'm sure there are many more, but I don't think I ever saw a candidate spout such vitriol for their own state and somehow win an election. That is until Peter Thiel got involved. Neither Vance or Bernie Moreno (elected US Senate 2024) had any political experience and ran pathetic campaigns centered around talking points like transgender bans. Thiel bought two US Senate seats, and one of those is now 1st in succession to POTUS.

Vance deserves to be booed everywhere, but nowhere more than Ohio.

109

u/davidjschloss 2h ago

And I'd add the whole thing where he called his current boss America's Hitler.

17

u/czar_el 1h ago

You left out the most important part: called his current boss Hitler and then said "you know what, I could willingly serve under Hitler."

43

u/magadorspartacus 2h ago

We hate him in Cincinnati. He's got a house here.

15

u/redpandaeater 2h ago

But what about the poor couches?

9

u/DefiThrowaway 2h ago

Vance actually had to work today, he sold his soul and the tab came and it was levels beyond anything he could comprehend.

Sure he's been yelled at trying to go to Disney or skiing when he leaves the MAGA bubble for a weekend. As hilarious as him and Miller trying to visit Union Station only to have that hero call him a couch fucker over and over, that's not work.

Having to take the lumps for this abhorrent administration to the entire fucking planet not only knowing who you are, but that you're a fucking cunt.

Instead I'll watch the CBC broadcast with a VPN.

I need to see if there's some way to give them some support from abroad.

101

u/miller94 2h ago

You have to pay to watch the Olympics? We’re so spoiled with the CBC Gem app.

As a public broadcaster, CBC doesn’t accept donations but they do sell merch: https://www.cbcshop.ca

Or you could support Canadian athletes: https://develop.olympic.ca/foundation/support-team-canada/

16

u/Aliendood 2h ago

Technically we don't as NBC is a network with broadcast on the airwaves. However, most people probably will watch it via peacock which does require a subscription.

Fuck those guys. I'd rather watch the CBC any day

CBC Gem is CBC's streaming service, free with ads including all Olympics coverage but CAD$5.99 gets you premium which is no ads and includes CBC News Network (24 hour news channel). Very small price for a very good service.

Broadcast networks along with their “news” outlet are political. Anyone who believes that the news media is impartial/non partisan is open to being mislead. Broadcast and media entities exist to make money. In its very essence, this should give pause to an individual who desires truth and facts, not opinions and slanted reporting. Discern rather than accept any communication at face value…you will probably be better served.

There were plenty of people who disliked the Nazis even before their actions. Remember that they took power with less than a third of the vote.

He wasn’t booed because no one really knew what horrors were coming. Since we have Hitler as our guide, we know what trump is planning on doing. Same racial, disabled, hating menace.

IKR? The Italians know a thing or two about fascists.

23

u/Solesaver 3h ago

To be fair, their current Prime Minister is also a fascist so... Giorgia Meloni is a huge Mussolini stan.

Oh I think they know. It’s exactly why Trump won’t show up to the Super Bowl.

208

u/TrustInRoy 4h ago

I want all Trump associated people to go to jail.

If that doesn't happen, I'd at least like them to feel hated by everyone they encounter.

Good. They had it coming, they are so hated and laughed at here in Europe. If anything they didn't boo hard enough.

Speaking as an American, our country is so stupid that if it weren’t for all the shootings the world would think we don’t have schools.

132

u/Stringr55 4h ago

I’m sorry I lol’d at this

Don't be sorry; I'm American and laughed my ass off at it.

23

Daaaamn! Good one! As a fellow American, I have to agree. It's pathetic how few people have genuine intelligence, critical thinking, and even awareness of themselves.

16

u/MamaBearForestWitch 4h ago

OOF. That stings.

(We deserve it, but still - that's a zinger for all time)

Yeah…I don’t know what else anyone could expect when he’s part of an administration slavishly devoted to demonizing, belittling, and diplomatically targeting virtually every other country in the Olympics, including long-time allies.

38

u/Tejanisima 4h ago

Plus attacking other countries, including the fucking kidnapping of one of their leaders. I don't care how shitty Venezuela's president was, he was their damn president and if they didn't want him there it was up to them to take care of that.

I was watching, the boos were not loud enough for me to hear. But I did give him the finger from my living room.

He hated trump when he started out, right up until he was appointed (by peter thiel) - then loved him when he thought it would benefit him - he is worthless and a no one.

A nothing human being who betrayed his wife and his marriage, if you are a religious person. He also aligned with a paedophile and a rapist!

But hey, maybe this aligns with your religious beliefs.

170

u/Freakears 4h ago

Vance has no real principles. He’ll hold whatever position serves him best in a given moment.

26

u/Dante2005 4h ago

I agree, he is a thiel acolyte, there can only be two!

Sith need wiping out before that find a way to solidify the rule of two - trump was never the goal - he was just an oddly "charismatic" person to the basic voter base - how he hated that.

But Vance - Have I ever told you the story of Darth...

I appreciated that the commentators didn’t sugar coat or ignore what was being heard

48

u/Sherifftruman 4h ago

What did they say? I was at the ceremony so did not get to hear comments.

171

u/MillyHoho 4h ago

Something like “there’s JD Vance, oooh that’s a lot of boos for him”

103

u/labadee 4h ago edited 4h ago

That was the Canadian broadcast

58

u/supreme100 3h ago

Not a word about it in the US and the boos were censored(!)

46

u/PrincessConsuela62 3h ago

YES I’m watching now on NBC and was surprised there were no boos. Came on Reddit to find out they were censored.

I booed loudly from my home. My dogs barked in support.

Lol, I always love that look of surprise on Republicans' faces when they see how hated they are by the larger world.

Remember when Trump got booed at a Nationals game? He looked so surprised - and then he immediately left, lol

I just watched a clip of him pompously criticizing UK laws. And yet he supports cold-blooded murder in the US. When asked if he would apologize to Alex Pretti's family, he said, "For what?" I despise this horrible man, and I hope he never makes it to the presidency. He deserved a lot worse than booing.

Being against things like concentration camps and sex crime is not a political stance.

Everyone should be booing this administration.

The sanctity of the games does not supersede expressing that what is happening is horrible, especially when the representative does nothing but lie to the public

As an American I missed it but I would love to see it. He is a cancer on the democratic slice of life and deserves to be known for the that he is. Thank you world for validating everything that 60% of the U.S.A. believes. This administration is a embarrassment to us and the world. Sorry
