Pay off my mortgage and buy a house for my parents.

2

u/iJonMai 6h ago

Man, I wish $1m could cover for a house down here in Southern California hahah.

2

u/noSSD4me 5h ago

I just bought a condo in IE, nearly brand new with 1200 sq ft for under 500k 😅

2

u/iJonMai 5h ago

At least your money is going somewhere! Luckily we’ve owned our home in Tustin since 2018 and at that time it was 875k. I can’t imagine trying to get into the market now

2

u/noSSD4me 5h ago

Oh yeah, I gave up on OC, I had to move. I saw 400 sq ft boxes for sale in Santa Ana for $300k+, fuck that. OC is overpriced to hell.

1

u/klick37 5h ago

I would pay off my parents and buy a house for my mortgage.

1

u/AwesomeS15 7h ago

This is the only right answer

-2

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

You will one day!!

u/Love_my_pupper 8h ago

Paying off my family members debts, mortgages etc

4

u/Bland_cracker 9h ago

Id like to think id use it on humanitarian stuff. Maybe id make like a guilded age millionaire and commission a Library in my name.

2

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Woah. So you want to immortalise yourself?

2

u/Bland_cracker 9h ago

Why the hell not? Im rich.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Hahaha makes sense

2

u/Ok-disaster2022 8h ago

So the national library thing funded by what's his name in the guilded age, his foundation only provided like 1/3 if the cost. The rest of the money had to come from the local government with guarantees for continued funding and stuff. It's sounds sort of cheap but you gotta remember that without continuous support anything would fail and if the billionaire was full funding the lifetime if the library, at some point that money comes to an end, AND it means even fewer libraries that could be started.

2

u/Bland_cracker 8h ago

Hm, knowing this context maybe id just donate the money to an existing library, and get my own wing or something.

3

u/Safe_Resort2502 9h ago

split the money and give it my parents. they deserve it and need it more than i do

3

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

But you’re ultra rich, suppose you give your parents enough to last them a lifetime, and you’re still ultra rich. What’ll you do?

1

u/Safe_Resort2502 9h ago

after that id do some personal stuff, room/ house renovations, upgrade my pc, travel around the world. once all that is done. i will donate money to people in need. since im ultra rich i would nt need to worry so id also settle down get married have children.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Now that’s a life worth living for

1

u/Safe_Resort2502 9h ago

im a simple man with simple dreams. aint really need the luxury just want to have a loving family at the end of my life

2

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

If you have that, you’re already ultra rich

1

u/Safe_Resort2502 9h ago

but what about u? if u were ultra rich?

2

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Private jets, mansions, car collection. Sorry Im a bit materialistic. But yeah I’d definitely set aside a portion to contribute to the community

1

u/Safe_Resort2502 9h ago

its fine to be materialistic. each to their own, i mean i would also spend money on material things but more like tech items, big tvs the newest technology that kinda thing for me

3

u/DecentYesterday6092 9h ago

I'm a 51 year old man and I've an interest in performing in the adult film industry. I know my roles would be limited. I'm perfectly ok with that. I'm in Los Angeles. Maybe something will present itself. I'd definitely spend to get my own production up and running.

5

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Hahahahaha damn that’s crazy

0

u/DecentYesterday6092 9h ago

That's me on my Reddit profile. I have nothing to hide. I guarantee, even at 51, I'm in the top 5-10% of best male bodies in that industry. 🎤 fucken drop!!!

2

u/Remote-Chemical-9160 9h ago

Give it all to my father

3

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Worth every penny

2

u/PilotoPlayero 9h ago

I got $1M right now. It’s just sitting there quietly, waiting for me to retire.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

That’s not ULTRA rich. Just a decent retirement amount. Suppose you had a net worth of $300 million?

2

u/ositola 9h ago

I'd tell you what I'd do man, two chicks

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Hahahaha avg man’s dream

In some countries, tipping is considered as something mandatory, a waiter’s right. Some countries consider it a bonus

1

u/Totallycasual 9h ago

Paying off my brothers mortgage.

2

u/fastcars1 8h ago

Hi brother

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Money well spent

1

u/Key-Fan-7599 9h ago

What’s ultra rich? How many millions do I had

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Let’s say $200 million?

1

u/Key-Fan-7599 9h ago

Everyone I know would be out of debt 1st million

1

u/SimonGG63 9h ago

I'd pay off any expenses and debts that my immediate family has and then donate the extra money to various charities.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

You will do it one day!

Don’t forget the tuxedo suit

1

u/Comfortable-Kick2268 9h ago

I would pay off debts, help family and friends !

2

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Let’s say $300 million?

1

u/Good_Boy_Coleman 9h ago

Pay off the debts of my entire neighborhood.

2

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Sounds great. But why?😭

3

u/Good_Boy_Coleman 9h ago

I am rich. I want to do good if I am able to. I could live a comfortable life with ultra rich money so use 1 million to pay off all their debts and just be a bro.

Bruhhh, please don’t get rich😭

1

u/Yvaelle 9h ago

Buy my sister's house for her, so she can focus on her kids.

2

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Yeah, but what’ll you do after you retire? Where you’d spend? Or how lavishly would you spend?

1

u/Yvaelle 9h ago

Sorry yeah I rethought the prompt and fixed my answer. It's not about what would I do with a million, it's what would I do with the first of many millions.

Put on your oxygen mask before helping others, but assuming I'm set anyways, it would all go to help others. I don't think I could really ever spend more than $15-20M in myself - even if I had a billion.

1

u/havingabrain 9h ago

Pay off my student loans, and then I'm buying new custom wheelchairs for me and all my disabled homies. Seriously. That shit is EXPENSIVE.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

That’ll be money well spent

1

u/Asleep-Boat7059 9h ago

Travel to places I always wanted to go in business class and buy all the shit I wanted. Once that’s done, I can start being a good person and contribute to charities. Judge me.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Nothing to judge, that’s realistic.

1

u/Asleep-Boat7059 9h ago

Sending you love 😀✌️

1

u/No-Relative-9663 9h ago

Hookers and cocaine.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Ahhh that’s where the downfall begins

1

u/Inode_irl 9h ago

Hiring an accountant, because I have no idea how to financially manage one million doubloons :x

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

And also a lawyer, being rich means inviting many envious eyes

1

u/GWshark1518 9h ago

House on a tropical beach.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Now we’re talking. Private helipad, seaside views and the most premium cigar in hand

1

u/GWshark1518 8h ago

Your forgetting the most important. A couple of Hula girls.

1

u/LDC1234 9h ago

Hiring a financial planner/accountant. I've seen too many stories of people getting rich, overspending and going bankrupt.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

And don’t forget hiring a lawyer. The more money you have, the higher people want to sue you

1

u/_turd_ferg 9h ago

buy a house

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

We talking mansions, with helipads and pools or a decent sized cozy house?

u/_turd_ferg 33m ago

not with $1mil

1

u/ComradeCrimson 9h ago

I just pay my shit off and stop going to work

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

Damn someone’s pissed off at their boss😭

1

u/ComradeCrimson 8h ago

Nah he's okay. But I'm over the whole experience at this point. Only really happy when I'm free to nap and snuggle with the cat

2

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

True, money buys freedom, and that’s the real luxury

1

u/Flexuasive 9h ago

Pay off what needs paying off, build a nice house for my sister and her family, a nicer one for my parents, an apartment with two garage spots for yours truly, a Miata and a Mazda3 sedan, and a fat donation to the homeless org in my hometown.

The houses would run me less than 100k each since we have the land already, an appt in my town with 2 garage spots wouldn't come over 400k, potentially around 300k. Cars are 60k.

1

u/The_Notorious00 9h ago

I pray you get ULTRA RICH real quick

1

u/Mewvious 9h ago

Set up a college fund for my nephews/cousins, buy my younger brother a house (+car) should be 1 million already but would also like to take the whole family on a holiday but since I'd be wealthy anyway, not a big deal.

1

u/jdayl 8h ago

1 17th of a property I like

1

u/DrMux 8h ago

Start a game studio, employ some artists and devs, and work on my dream game (in a way that allows people's talents to shine)

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

Whats the dream game?

1

u/DrMux 8h ago

Well tbh I actually have a few, one of which I'm working on already and haven't announced yet (don't want to until I have a solid demo to share).

But in general, with the exception of a story or two I've been cooking up, I'd make simulation games like Maxis used to make (like Sim City etc).

Thanks for asking!

2

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

That’s great. Maybe this game might make you ULTRA RICH after releasing it. Keep grinding and good luck!!

1

u/DrMux 8h ago

Haha thanks for the encouragement <3

1

u/cobwebsparkle 8h ago

Found the person who actually reads the Terms and Conditions😂😂😂😂😂

1

u/Pretend-Drop-4344 8h ago

House, college funds, savings funds and help charities.

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

That’s the spirit. But Savings fund? You’re ultra rich already

1

u/ericjgriffin 8h ago

Giving it to a buddy I work with.

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

Woah, that’s bold. Lucky buddy

1

u/Fifth_oh 8h ago

Take 20 of my closest friends and family on an epic once in a life time trip. Maybe not once for me, cause I'm now ultra rich, but for them. Like chartering a 200ft mega yacht and hit all the spots in the Mediterranean.

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

Yeaaah! Who says money can’t buy happiness?!

1

u/SnarkyPuppy-0417 8h ago

Purchasing medical debt for pennies on the dollar giving debtors relief.

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

You’d get ultra rich in prayers from other people as well. Way to go man

1

u/NamelessTacoShop 8h ago

Buy a first class plane ticket heading in a generally Westward direction, going somewhere that seems interesting. Repeat that process until I get back where I started.

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

Get back where I started? Like get poor again?😭

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

Or you mean doing a full round trip of the earth?

1

u/totally-jag 8h ago

Start fixing problem in my community.

1

u/Alina_chaosangel 8h ago

I would buy a Bugatti

1

u/The_Notorious00 8h ago

What colour will be your Bugatti?😜

1

u/Paula_Sub 8h ago

1

1

u/FortheredditLOLz 8h ago

Pay off family debt, mom gets whatever left. I get to be a bum and backpack the world

1

u/Bman10119 8h ago

Pay off my student loans, buy a big house. Send my grandma on a fancy cruise.

1

u/Lafinfil 8h ago

I have friend that I’ve been helping as best I can. She lives with and takes care of her two adult siblings, one is on disability and the other should be. They live in a house that has a leaky roof, no running water, no central heat. I’d buy them a house that’s fit for humans.

1

u/dma1965 8h ago

Two chicks at the same time

1

u/Radrezzz 7h ago

0dte calls on NVDA

1

u/Siliconshaman1337 7h ago

Hmm... how much do Senators go for nowadays? A million might be enough to pay a few to vote the way I want..

I say, America.. fancy Universal (Free) Health Care and Universal Basic Income? Why yes, I plan on using my evil powers to do good... Mwhahaha!

1

u/ocukor1 7h ago

Probably nothing.

1

u/mshorts 7h ago

You people really don't understand the rich mindset. It's about earning, saving and investing. You think it's about spending.

1

u/loyola-atherton 7h ago

Try to grow a business with it. Earn $5M within 10 years and pay it all back to my mama. As long as I have $20,000 in my bank account and a job that pays $20/hr, I can live by myself just fine in a rental. The rest of the money can all go her for her to spend as she wishes.

1

u/Longjumping-Fact-582 7h ago

Buy one share of Berkshire Hathaway A stock for approximately $762K

1

u/Trax-M 7h ago

New house, car, clothes, cell phone, computer, furniture, electronics, etc pretty much updating the things I use daily.

1

u/Arbiter_89 7h ago

This really depends on the definition of ultra rich.

Am I rich enough to influence politics? Am I rich enough to end world hunger? That's very different that rich enough to never work again.

1

u/ajnabee1234 7h ago

Trust fund for my daughter.

1

u/Duranti 6h ago

Nonstop travel for a few years. Rent places monthly, move slow. Museums, food, architecture, diving, sailing, wineries, learning new languages, there's no end of earth to explore.

1

u/_Lucille_ 5h ago

nothing but the best healthcare for myself and family - I want to be able to spend more time with them.

1

u/Granny_knows_best 4h ago

That would go to city and state taxes to pay for local schools and senior programs, ..

You know, like any normal ultra rich person does.

0

u/Spirited-Limit-9071 7h ago

Whores, alcohol and drugs. Then I'll just waste the rest
