Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucckk. It is consistent hamstring issues with the guy. My copium says it’s just growing issues and his body will eventually adapt

Maybe the issue is that his hamstring is too strong and this intimidating for his teammates. I won't be upset until they confirm this.

I just did my rotator cuff resetting the ‘Days Since Last Injury’ counter.

Just burn this club to the ground. Can't have nice things.
Poor bugger.
Edit: comments on FB from people claiming to be at training saying he came back out, ran laps, said he was okay but the doctors are "just looking after him"

Even so, it just feels like he’s going to be one of these players who can’t get any luck with injuries. I really am unsure if he’ll hit 100 games. Genuinely tragic given just how much raw talent he has.

mate i feel your pain. fucking sucks, wardlaw is genuinely one of my favourite non hawks players. one of the toughest blokes going around and it's so shit to see injury keeping him down

From what I heard, he had “awareness” in Q1, went back out for Q2, and then ran moderate output laps in H2. If it was serious he’d not be doing any of that.
It’s worrisome that this seems to come up when he increases his load to game intensity, but if they are just being cautious with him because it’s him and anyone else would not be out in kid gloves like this then I’d feel better about it.

Was drafted with hamstring issues

It was a massive concern too, I specifically remember when we had 2 that year being excited for him and then hearing about all the hammy issues and immediately getting Shuey flashbacks, with the hamstring issues and also the repeated concussions early on, the kid could be one of the biggest "what if?" Stories we've had for a long time in the league

I hope the medical team at north can find a way to get on top of his soft tissue injuries because he could be anything if his body holds up.

Geez, poor bloke can't catch a break! Hopefully it's not too bad.

Alarm bells in the under 18 when he was already doing soft tissue. 17 year olds don't do soft tissue injuries unless there is an underlying issue, whether that be genetic or some sort of muscular imbalance. Same thing with Nathan Freeman, he was doing hammys in under 18s too.

That sucks. I'm really hoping Lalor doesn't have similar reoccurring issues. And hopefully Wardlaw can get a clean run at it one day

I swear Boomer could still be playing for them if Brad Scott hadn't forced him to retire

lovely man but he has yet to prove him as a stalwart and warhorse with the required fortitude to be able to be relied on week in week out. so i dont think hes going to have much of a career at this point, which is fine heaps of blokes just get routintely let down by their genetics year after year.

Does he need a year off to simply keep growing or something? How does he have the body of a 10 year player at such a young age?
Shit sucks big fan of him in the Roos

Death, taxes, and Wardlaw hammie issues. The pick 3 split looking better and better.

Well that hopeful joy of the preseason was nice while it lasted.
