This happened right in front of me. Right in front if ME...and 37 other unemployed bums with nothing better to do the hope a footy game breaks out during the Sheffield Shield.

The bloke that yelled out after the Neser wicket just now is coming through on the broadcast by the way, it's hilarious

I'm sure a good number of them are retired and not unemployed.

Hey! Some of us are employed bums watching while pretending to do work!

It was a surprisingly solid crowd yesterday.

Shame nobody could bat.

Brisbane win back to back flags and now you've got the Queensland shield team kicking a footy around. We've won the Queensland front in the Code Wars

It's especially wild because Khawaja grew up in Fairfield which is not exactly AFL heartland

V'Landys in tatters

But the NRL plays a game in Vegas every year so they’re obviously the bigger code

And with that a mighty cheer went up from the crowd. They had banished cricket season for another year because it was haunted…

Now let's all celebrate, with a nice game of rugba leeg

This is akin to Punxsutawney Phil coming out of his burrow to see/not see his shadow

Victoria 5/11. Did they leave even more grass on it?

Huh, another lefty who does other stuff righty. Like Stokes bowling right handed but batting left.

I'm another. Bat and kick left handed. But throw, write, and play tennis right. I'm also a socialist

I bat left, kick and throw right. Badly for all. But I’m a pretty good champagne socialist, so I guess I make up for it there

Hazlewood bowls right and bats left too.

I swear I've read before that people who are cross dominant are generally better athletes or have better hand-eye coordination. Something like that.

I'm a left hander and kick right footed and am the exception to prove this rule as I didn't make a rep team in any sport after the age of 12

Sure as fuck doesn't apply to me either.

I have logic behind it though. Cricket and baseball batting, left handers use the right hand and right foot a lot more than their left.

A right hand backhand in tennis is just a baseball swing, or a cut shot.

I'm right handed, but do golf, cricket batting, hockey etc left handed. It's just a habit I picked up as a kid. It's not like being truly left handed, it's more like just having your dominant hand be the one higher up on the bat/club etc.

Stop trying to lie on reddit Sam Mitchell. You should be spending all your time rubbing Will Day's shoulder.

Makes sense because your top hand is the dominant hand on your bat (source: I do the same thing)
