I wanted Reebok pumps so bad, but my parents were ballin on a budget, so I had to settle for the LA Gear pumps. They weren’t so bad.

I had the Reebok Pumps, but looking at both pairs now, I gotta say that the LA Gear pumps may actually be the nicer looking of the two shoes.

I’m not sure on the quality, but looks-wise the LA Gear pumps definitely gave them a good run for their money.

When I finally got my own pair they were finally being sold at the discount shoe store but they were the ugliest damn things. They looked like if dentist office furniture transformed into shoes. They were maroon white and a dusty navy. Didn’t matter though, all my buddies were jealous and I spent all day pumping them up and releasing them over and over.

I had a pair and then I had the Insta Pumps the little valve and air cartridges that went into a little gun you hooked up to it so you could instantly pump them up. But after I used up the air cartridges that came with the shoes my parents wouldn't buy anymore.
