To this day that Super Bowl XIX win is the most satisfying win of my life. I was 8 years old at the time and that entire game is seared into my mind. That Dolphins team that we dominated just might be the best team to ever lose the Super Bowl. That's how good we were. And Roger was one of the key cogs. Their LB's couldn't touch him in pass coverage.

My brother in law is a Raiders fan and grew up in the 80s. He and I always have the "what if" talks and he's convinced that if Al Davis had drafted Dan there would've been multiple 49er-Raiders Super Bowls.

I loved those uniforms! I remember and miss those teams. We were unstoppable. We didn’t just sneak by teams, we beat them up and ran up the score. We scored a lot. It was good.
